11/1/02

We were the first to see Star Wars Episode II at it's premiere in Australia. Before the movie, they played an hour of funnies and bloopers. One with the Jedi laughing when Qui-Gon held Obi-Wan's Lightsabre, amongst others.

And Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan sharing a rare moment of humour aboard the Queen's ship. I was glad there were no sick jokes.

We saw Episode II and it did have scenes where Qui-Gon's spirit was teaching Obi-Wan and Anakin

15/4/02

Qui-Gon was meditating in his room in the temple.  Obi-Wan was in the other room.  Darth Maul had come into the temple to kill Qui-Gon and planned to kill him while he was meditating.  Without a sound he entered Qui-Gon’s room.  The Jedi Master meditated, levitated off the floor, his naked body unfurled.  Peaceful rainbow light emanated from him as he breathed silently.  The Jedi Master sensed Maul’s presence, but didn’t sense any danger so did not come out of his meditation.  The light began, stronger, but not so strong that it was blinding.  White and silver light surrounded

Qui-Gon, as the rainbow light highlighted his beautiful aura.  Maul watched, hating to admit the beauty in what he saw.   Qui-Gon curled his body up, looking like a baby bathed in light.  Slowly he uncurled, making his body full again, his hair swaying in the light.  Obi-Wan began to sense something and came out of his room.  Qui-Gon opened his eyes and slowly touched down to the floor.  He motioned for obi-Wan to stay back.  His Padawan was confused.  Qui-Gon regarded Darth Maul.

“Thank you for allowing me to complete my meditation.”

He picked up his lightsabre.  “If we are to fight I’d prefer it If I am able to put some clothes on.”

“That won’t be necessary,” Maul said.

He lowered his lightsabre.  He felt uncomfortable.  Qui-Gon lowered his weapon.

“your meditation ...” Maul began, not knowing wehre to start or what he was going to say next, “was very interesting...”

And he left in a hurry.  He missed the exit route and ended up in a room.  Qui-Gon had put on an pastel green over shirt and come after him.  Maul sat in the room contemplating.

  “You all right?” Qui-Gon asked.

Perplexed at why the Jedi would care, he turned away.

Concerned, Qui-Gon walked to him.

“What concern is it of yours?!” Maul snapped.

Qui-Gon saw he was crying.

“What is it?” he asked gently.

Maul realised he wouldn’t be able to lie his way out.  He looked up at Qui-Gon, half embarrassed at his tears.

“It was the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen,” he forced himself to admit.  “I’d always believed Jedi were nothing more than mercenaries doing good for their own egos... And my focus was on you.  You seemed good, kind and noble but I was not convinced... I believed it was a show.”

“And now you realise something else?”

“As must as I hate to admit it.”

Qui-Gon sat down next to him.  “It’s what your master lead you to believe.”

Maul nodded.

“Perhaps some Jedi aren’t all they’re cracked up to be,” Qui-Gon admitted, “but some of us save the universe because we want to and because we care.”

“I realise that now.” Maul forced himself to admit.  “When you were meditating, those ... colours, the light , I ...”

Qui-Gon took Darth Maul’s hand.  “I can teach you how to do that, if you’ll let me.”

“Why would you do that.  I’m your enemy,”

“Not if you want to learn.

After a long pause, Maul said ‘I do’ so softly, no one else would have heard him.

“I am willing to learn,” Darth Maul said.

“It will take time, and a lot of patience, and you must unlearn a lot of the things you have learned,” Qui-Gon told him.

Maul nodded.  “I know.”

The Jedi Master gently took his hand and lead him out of the room.

“Master, are you sure about this?” Obi-Wan asked.

“If I had a credit for every time you asked me that I’d be richer than all the hutts in the galaxy put together!”

The younger Jedi smiled.

“Yes, I am sure, Obi-Wan.  He wants to learn.”

Qui-Gon took his Padawan’s hand.  “I can’t turn him away.”

  “Master, you’re too kind.”

“Now if I had a credit for every time someone said *that* ..”

Both Jedi smiled.

And Qui-Gon, despite the misgivings of the Council began to teach Darth Maul the ways of the Light Side of the Force.

6/5/02

Qui-Gon had returned from a mission.

“Welcome back, Master,” Obi-Wan said with a smile.  “How did it go?”

“Quite well, they’re willing to lay down their weapons.”

  “That’s wonderful.”

Qui-Gon smiled warmly.  “It feels wonderful to save a world.”

Obi-Wan returned his Master’s smile.

“But it feels good to be back home too.”

Master and Padawan embraced.

“I’d have made something for you,” Obi-Wan said, but we’re a bit low on supplies.

“Then we’ll just have to go shopping.”

Obi-Wan laughed.  “The council should stock up soon enough.”

“But I’d like to get out for a bit.”

  “But you just got back.”

Qui-Gon smiled.  “I don’t often get a chance to go shopping and you can come with too.”

Obi-Wan shook his head and chuckled.  “Let’s go shopping then.”

Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan took a small transport to a super market on the other side of town.

“There are super markets closer, Master.”

“Yes, but I don’t often get a chance to visit this part of Coruscant.”

Obi-Wan smiled.  “What are we going to buy?”

Qui-Gon fished out a shopping list.

“And whatever else w feel like.”

Obi-Wan laughed.   “Master, I love you.”

The Jedi Master smiled.  “The feeling is mutual.”

And they disembarked from their vehicle.

Qui-Gon scoured the shelves.  Obi-Wan was very curious.

“I’ve never been in a supermarket before, master.”

“Well they’re not he most enlightening of places, but it is an interesting experience.”

The Jedi Master picked a tin of metal polish from the shelf.

  “What’s that for?”

“Best metal polish in the galaxy, I’m glad that still make it.  It doesn’t scratch either.”

  “But what’s it for?”

“Sometimes my lightsabre needs something special.”

“So that’s how you get it so shiny ...”

“Now you know my deepest secret, you must die.”

Obi-Wan chuckled.  “Can I use some?”

“Of course you can.  Sometimes I polished your sabre for you.”

“I wondered why it looked shinier some days.”

Qui-Gon smiled as the two Jedi continued up the isles.

The Jedi bought various fruits, natural wheat free bread, some exotic chocolates and fruit juice, ancient style dairy free yoghurt.   Qui-Gon also bought some green sea mineral bubblebath, to which Obi-Wan smiled.

“Ooh!  I love this soap ...”

“Get some if you like,” Qui-Gon said.  “oh yes, that soap is *very* nice.”

Obi-Wan put five cakes of the green blue and purple “Alderaanian Breeze” soap into the trolley.  Qui-Gon smiled.

“Ooh,” he said, grabbing a bottle of shampoo.

“That’s not on the list,” Obi-Wan said with a mischievous smile.

“Well it’s my favourite shampoo and conditioner and I’ve not seen it around for ages.”

Obi-Wan smiled.  “So you’re going to get a bottle of each then?”

 “No, I’m getting three.”

Obi-Wan laughed.

Qui-Gon also bought two brown clay bowls and various exotic spices.  Obi-Wan bought a small sad looking pot plant.

“If you hadn’t got that I would have, poor thing looks so neglected.”

Obi-Wan smiled.

A few extra things were put into the trolley before they wet to the checkout.   Qui-Gon was handed a form.

“Today were giving shoppers the chance to win free groceries for five years.  One entry per household.”

Qui-Gon was about to refuse, but he filled out the form anyway.

  “Master, what are you doing?”

“If I win there are many needy people I could give this to.”

Obi-Wan smiled.  “Master, don't ever change.”

“I don't plan to.”   And he filled out the form.

And he placed it in the box.

The Jedi paid for their items and packed them into their vehicle.

Upon their return they were greeted by Mace Windu.

 “Congratulations Qui-Gon,” he said.

The other Jedi gave him an inquisitive look.

“You have apparently won five years of free groceries from J-Mart.”

“Oh?  I have, well how about that!”

Obi-Wan smiled.

“So what do you plan to do with all your groceries?” Mace asked.

“Donate them to the Dalan Orphanage.  They’re struggling as it is and this will help them.”

Obi-Wan hugged his Master.

“You’re the kindest person in the Universe.”

Qui-Gon returned his Padawan’s embrace.  “I do what I must, Obi-Wan.”

30/5/02

I was being persecuted by a religious group, who did not share my beliefs.  I had a “back to the Future” like hoverboard and was grateful it ran on air and wouldn’t run out of fuel. The group pursued me in a 4WD.  Their vehicle stuck at the top of the road and I sped off.  I knew they would catch up to me soon, so I stopped when I was out of sight.  I hid behind a large telegraph pole and took off my purple cape, which was giving me away and shoved it into my dolphin bag.  The council was doing a clean up in this area as many house had lots of rubbish out.  I decided to hide in some of the rubbish.  I lay down by a long, large pile of wood and metal and covered myself and my bag with a thick painter’s cloth.  The group drove right past, thankfully.

Qui-Gon had come to the area, escaping the Sith.  Reluctantly, he knew he had to hide.  He saw piles of rubbish and thought that would be the ideal spot and sat down by a pile, a house down from me.  He heard two people throwing out some food form last night’s dinner, a half eaten chicken liver pie.  Although he as vegetarian, Qui-Gon had not eaten anything in days.  A house down from where he w a man threw a porcelain dish with the pie onto the rubbish heap.  When he went back inside, Qui-Gon retrieved it.  He silently thanked the chickens for their sacrifice and gratefully began to eat the cold pie.  After he had finished, he placed the dish aside, covered himself with a carpet and went to sleep.

Neither of us were found out as we awoke the next morning when the council came to clean up.  They found us under the rubbish and felt sorry for us, giving us a ride in the dump truck back to the centre.

“I didn’t sense you,” Qui-Gon said,  “I’m sorry, I should have and I would have shard that pie with you.”

“Looks like we were both very preoccupied with our own stuff.”

“Yes, but fear leads to the Dark Side.”

“I know, but we’re together now.”

He gently embraced me and we knew we were both safe.

“Your magick is beautiful,” Qui-Gon said to me.  “You use it for peace, love and prosperity.  Don’t ever fear who you are.”

I kissed him.  “Nor you, Master Qui-Gon, the Force Will Be With You Always.”

Gently he embraced me, the Force was with us both.

14/6/02

Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan were trying to stop Count Dooku.  They knew he had switched to the Dark side, but they needed to prove it.  Dooku had become an inspirational speaker to the masses, the people not suspecting he was leading them to the Dark Side.  Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon sat in, in disguise on one of his talks.  Obi-Wan sat near the front and Qui-Gon sat on the side quite far up.

While Dooku spoke, there was an explosion on stage, or so it seemed,  and Dooku was thrown backwards.  Everyone seemed concerned about him, bar Palpatine, Qui-Gon and obi-Wan who sensed no danger.  People began to run out of the auditorium.

The second time Dooku Spoke there was another explosion.  Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan sensed something about it.  Palpatine sat in the audience, feeding to the people with the Force that the Jedi were responsible.  He fed to Obi-Wan that Qui-Gon was responsible and vice versa.

  “I don’t know what’s going on,” Qui-Gon said to obi-Wan.  “I know I didn’t do it.”

“And I know I didn’t do it and I’m ashamed to have even thought you might have, even for a moment.”

  “As am I.”

“There’s definitely something fishy about the explosions, Master,” Obi-Wan said.

  “Agreed.”

“Did you see Darth Sidious in the Audience?”

  “Yes, both times. “

“I’ll bet he has something to do with it.”

“I doubt he wants to hurt Dooku, the to of them are in league.”

“I managed to get his room key.”

  “Obi-Wan, you’re a genius.”

The young Padawan smiled.  “I just told the front desk that we were friends.  He’ll be out for a while so we shouldn’t have a problem.”

  “Let’s hope we find something.”

Cautiously obi-Wan and Qui-Gon went up to Sidious’ room.

  “Keep your senses on alert.”

Obi-Wan nodded.  “You too, Master.”

They began to look around.

“Not much here, looks clean as a whistle.”

He noticed a box of biscuits out on the kitchen bench.

“Deveronian, the most expensive in the galaxy.”

“So we know he’s rich ...”

Obi-Wan looked in the living area.   “Master, I’ve found something.  The plans for the auditorium.”

Qui-Gon eyes them.  “It looks like form these that Dooku and Palpatine rigged the explosions.  Here and here.” He pointed.  “And used holographic technology.”

“And Dooku must have used the Force to send himself flying backwards ... to gain sympathy form the masses.”

Qui-Gon nodded.

“I can’t believe how evil that man is.  He gives me the creeps.”

Qui-Gon nodded.  “Can’t say I blame you.”

He went back into the kitchen and got two biscuits.  Obi-Wan chuckled and began to eat.

“Mmm ... Force, I can see why they’re so expensive ...”

“A little luxury never hurt anyone ...”

They placed the plans back the way they found them and began to leave the apartment.

“He’s coming ...” Qui-Gon saw the lift nearing.  “He forgot something...”

The lift opened.    Qui-Gon and obi-Wan pulled their hoods up.  Qui-Gon grabbed Obi-Wan and kissed him passionately, placing his hand on his Padawan’s chest, where a breast would be if he were a woman.

“Get a room,” Palpatine snapped, walking past them.  They waited until he had entered his room before catching the elevator down. O bi-Wan smiled.

“Wow ... Where’d you learn to kiss like that?”

Qui-Gon shrugged.

They went back down to the deserted auditorium and saw two slight bulges in the stage where the explosions took place.  Obi-Wan stepped on one of them and sure enough the holographic explosion flared.  Same too on the other side.

Qui-Gon nodded to himself.  “We need to hurry this information back to the Jedi Temple.  Then we can scare two birds with one stone.”

  “That’s kill, Master.”

“I know, but it sounds cruel.”

Obi-Wan smiled.

The two Jedi presented their case to the Jedi Council, who reported it back to the auditorium who checked it out and conformed it.

Dooku lost all credit with the people and became furious.  Sidious cursed the Jedi, but not without some respect

And the Jedi once again regained their credibility amongst the masses, especially

Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan.

Obi-Wan stood with his Master on the balcony, watching the dusk traffic go by.

  “Another mission successfully completed.”

Qui-Gon smiled.

  “Master ... about ...”

“I’m sorry, Obi-Wan, but it was necessary.  Sidious would have discovered us if-“

“I know that, Master ... I was wondering if ... ohh to hell with it.”

He grabbed his Master and kissed him passionately.  Qui-Gon gently held his young Padawan.

?/7/02  First dream in 174 Garden Street!

Qui-Gon was helping me overcome my fears and limitations.  He held m gently and told me not to be upset that I didn’t have the perfect body, but to love myself for who I was.

1/9/02

Anakin was in the podrace and he knew he had to win at all costs.  He saw a jack nabbit get caught up in another racer’s pod and he wanted to help it, and the other racer thrown into turmoil by the small animal, but Anakin knew what was riding on his shoulders and could not stop to save the animal or the podracer’s life.  He knew he had to be as underhanded as the other racers to win and although he found it distasteful he knew that’s what he had to do.

When the race was over, Anakin went to Qui-Gon.

“I really wanted to help that racer and the jack nabbit,” he said.

“I know you did,” Qui-Gon said with a gentle smile.  “And I know you were nothing like the other racers, but they would never have shown you the same courtesy.  Sometimes we have to pretend to be what we’re not for a greater outcome, Anakin.”

The little boy hugged the older Jedi.

Later on in the Jedi Temple Anakin had constructed hi first lightsabre and he eagerly showed Qui-Gon.

  “Master Qui-Gon, look!”

Qui-Gon smiled, impressed.  “Very good, Anakin, but you must not show off.”

  “Yes, Master.”

Anakin began to draw a picture of his lightsabre, grateful Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon were here to guide him.  Qui-Gon sat by his second Padawan and began to teach him.

23/9/02

Shira was on the way to the Jedi Temple to meet her father, however she was mistrustful, even of the Jedi Council.  Obi-Wan escorted her to he Council Chambers.

“Greetings, members of the Council.  I have come to see my father,” she said.

Yoda spoke to her.  “Puzzled are we as to who your father is.”

“He was a brave and compassionate Jedi Knight.”

“Trust us you can,” Yoda assured her with a gentle smile.

Shira took a breath.  “My father is Qui-Gon Jinn.”

Dumbfounded, the Council members and Obi-Wan stard at her.

Shira continued.  “On a mission almost fourteen years ago, to the planet Yarra, Master Qui-Gon fell in love with my mother, Yenora.  She fell pregnant, though she did not tell Qui-Gon as she did not want to distract him from his calling as a Jedi, though she told me much about him.  How brave, and yet how gentle he was and I always yearned to meet him.”  The thirteen year old girl bit her lip, then continued.  “My mother passed three days ago, due to illness.  I have come to seek my father as he’s the only one I have now.”

The Council and Obi-Wan shared an uncomfortable silence.

Yoda felt someone had to speak.  “Gravely sorry we are to tell you, Master Qui-Gon is no longer with us.”

“He left the Jedi?” Shira asked, dreading the answer.

Yoda shook his head.  “Over two years ago, killed he was on a mission.”

Shira shook her head.  “No ... No ... no...”  She could not stop the tears as she fell to her knees.  Obi-Wan knelt down with her and held her gently.

Yoda looked upon her with a heavy heart.  “Truly sorry we are.”

The girl had fallen unconscious in Obi-Wan’s arms.

“Care for her,” Yoda said.  “Help her we must.”

Obi-Wan nodded.  “Yes, Master.”

He picked up Shira and carried her to his quarters.

Gently, he consoled her when she awoke.

“Why is the galaxy so unfair ... he was such a gentle person...”

Tears came to Obi-Wan’s eyes.  “I know.”

Three days later Shira stood before the Council once more.

“I want to become a Jedi,” she said.  “I realise I am much older that those who begin training, but I feel it is my destiny.”

“Sense the Force in you I do,” Yoda said.  “Sure about this are you?  A hard life it will be.”

Shira gave a single nod.  “I have never been so sure.”

  “Why wish you become Jedi?”

“I don’t wish to become a Jedi to avenge my father,” she said. “Darth Maul has got his comeuppance and karma will see that he pays for what he did.  I want to become a Jedi to follow in my father’s footsteps, as a guardian for peace in the Universe.  To carry on his Legacy.”

Yoda’s eyes smiled.  “A Jedi you shall be ... Obi-Wan, train Shira you shall.”

“Yes Master Yoda, it will be an honour.”

Shira lay on her new bed in Obi-Wan’s rooms, crying softly.

“Don’t grieve for me, my dear child.”

Shira lifted her head, to see a glowing image of Qui-Gon. “Father...”

Obi-Wan entered the room and stared.

“My beautiful daughter, my Padawan ... Please know that I am not gone.  I am here with you.”

Gently he touched both their faces.   “The Force is with you always, as I am.”

23/9/02

On a mission, Qui-Gon had fallen very ill, and lay sick in bed.  Obi-Wan came to him, shocked at how pale his Master had become overnight.  He brought some water and sat down next to him.

  “Master...”

Qui-Gon turned slowly to look at him.

“The Force says I need some fish,” he said softly.

Obi-Wan nodded.  “Master, I know how you feel about eating animals, but-“

  “It’s all right, Obi-Wan, I know I need to.”

The young Padawan stroked his Master’s warm head.

“I’ll get you one from the river.”

  “Thank you.”

Qui-Gon closed his eyes, resting.

Obi-Wan walked down he pier.  The river was teaming with all sorts of fish.  He knew his Master would not like it if he used the force to catch one, so he spoke to them, with the force told them of his very ill Master, who Qui-Gon was and how much he meant to the galaxy, and how much he meant to him.

A large rainbow trout leapt from the water into Obi-Wan’s lap.

//I will be honoured to sacrifice myself for your Master.//

//Thank you...// Obi-Wan felt grateful and truly honoured.  //You will not be hurt.//

Ever so gently he held the fish, using the Force to separate his soul from his body as he had seen his Master do on rare occasions when he had no other choice.

The Jedi Padawan took the fish’s body back to the kitchen and began to prepare it.  He hoped it wouldn’t take long to cook, as his master needed it as soon as possible.

He waited as patiently as he could until the fish had cooked before taking it out of he oven.   Carefully, he removed the head and all the bones, and placed them beside the scales and other parts of the fish, which he intended to bury.  Again, he thanked the fish for his sacrifice as he took one fillet to his Master.

Qui-Gon sensed Obi-Wan’s presence and sat up the best he could.

  “Thank you, Obi-Wan.”

  “It’s my pleasure, Master,”

He handed his Master the plate.  Qui-Gon placed his hand over the fish, thanking him for his sacrifice.  He took a deep breath and began to eat.  He did not use a fork, as when one eats with their hand, they energise the food (this is true).

Slowly he ate the large fillet, his body becoming lighter, less dense and he began to feel a little stronger.

“Would you like the other fillet?”

  “Not for now, thank you.”

“I’ll get you some barley green juice.”

Obi-Wan left and returned with the green liquid.  Slowly, Qui-Gon drank it, beginning to feel better.

  “Thank you, Obi-Wan.”

  “My pleasure, Master.”

Gently Obi-Wan placed is arms around his Master, grateful to the Force he was going to get better.  Qui-Gon smiled warmly, touched by his Padawan’s love.

24/9/02

In this dream Qui-Gon was 14 years old and going to school on Earth.  He was in year 8.  He lived with the members of the Jedi Council.

This particular day at school Qui-Gon was minding his own business when another student, Darth Maul attacked him.  Qui-Gon activated his lightsabre and defended himself.  The two fought furiously and drew a crowd.  The fight was broken up by two teachers.

“Who started this?” one of them demanded.

Qui-Gon sensed Maul was uncomfortable.  There were many witnesses who saw him start it.  Qui-Gon also sensed Maul’s Master would torture him if he were expelled and starting a fight was an expellable offence.

“We were just sparring,” Qui-Gon said.

“With your lightsabres on full, what were you thinking?!  You both could have been hurt!”

Maul had no idea why Qui-Gon had lied to the teacher, though he was grateful he wouldn’t have to explain his expulsion to Darth Sidious.

The principal had a talk to both Qui-Gon and Darth Maul.

“We’re sorry,” Qui-Gon said.  “In a real fight we won’t be able to have our sabres on low.  We were just preparing.  It won’t happen again.”

The principal looked at them.

“See that it doesn’t.  A good thing that neither of you were injured.  If it happens again I will have to inform your Guardians.”

Maul shuddered invisibly.

  “Dismissed.”

The Jedi and Sith left the Principal’s office.  Maul left without a word, but then Qui-Gon wasn’t expecting to be thanked.

The next morning, Qui-Gon made his lunch, consisting of two containers of vegetarian rice and some fruit.

“Hurry, now, you don’t want to be late again and get detention,” Saesee said.

Qui-Gon gave an embarrassed look, looked at the time and gave a start.  He grabbed his lunch and his books and ran out of the house.  Saesee smiled and shook his head.   Qui-Gon ran down the street, past the trees, which unfortunately he could not appreciate today as he ran full speed to school.

When he arrived, he slipped into class, a little late and hoped no one noticed.  The teacher glanced at him.  Qui-Gon smiled and gave his best innocent look and the teacher decided to let it go.  Qui-Gon was relived.

And the day began.

At lunch, Qui-Gon saw Maul sitting by himself, and he sensed the Sith was hungry.  He’d forgotten his lunch and didn’t have any money to buy anything from the school canteen.  Qui-Gon brought out his second container of rice.  He knew he’d brought it for a reason.  He gave it to Maul, fully expecting a rebuke.

“It’s not poisoned,” he said after a while.

“It’s probably full of laxatives,” Maul hissed.

“Not one of the food additives I usually use.  Take it, I promise it’s fine.”  He gave Maul a fork.

The Sith was too hungry to argue as he began to eat.  Qui-Gon wasn’t expecting a ‘thank you’ and he didn’t get one.

“Why did you lie yesterday?” Maul asked when he had finished.

“Your Master wouldn’t have been too pleased if you were kicked out.”

  “Why would you care?”

“I don’t expect you to understand anything but hatred and destruction, Maul,” Qui-Gon said.  “But one of these days I hope for peace between our peoples, as crazy as that might sound.”

Maul looked somewhat impressed.   “I doubt my Master would go for that and I almost killed you.”

“Could have fooled me.  You almost lost grip on your lightsabre.”

Maul wanted to be angry, but Qui-Gon’s smile refused to let him.

“I had full intentions on killing you,” Maul said.

  “I know. I’m a Jedi.  I don’t hold grudges.”

  “You people are strange.”

“To you, perhaps, but someday I hope there’s peace between us.  Truce?”

Maul paused for a while before he spoke.  “I don’t know about that...”

“ Well just while we’re at school. When you go home you can think about how much you want to kill me.”

Maul chuckled softly.  “You are unlike most Jedi I have seen.”

  “So everyone tells me.”

“Very well, Jedi, a truce for now.”

Qui-Gon and Darth Maul continued their schooling.  The latter did not want to admit he had actually grown to like Qui-Gon.  What would his Master say?  Perhaps the Jedi was right.  Perhaps the time had come for peace between their peoples.

They both congratulated each other upon their graduation.  Darth Sidious did not look too impressed at his apprentice getting friendly with a Jedi.  He had watched this Jedi, he was so different from the others, so much more compassionate and considerate, Sidious wondered how he would bear to live in a Universe so full of corruption and destruction.

The Council congratulated Qui-Gon upon his graduation.  Some had reservations about his friendship with the Sith, but knew that above all else Qui-Gon believed in a peaceful Universe, and perhaps peace between the Jedi and the Sith would come.

?/10/02

Qui-Gon lived in a small house with a small garden.  A tall fence separated his garden from the street.  He liked to live alone and unbothered.  He heard the paparazzi were around looking for famous people to take photos of.  He did not want them to find him, because he did not want his enemies to know where he was living.  He did not like to leave his house when he sensed them around, and when he had to leave it, he left in disguise.  He was relieved when they moved to another area and he continued to live his life in peace/

?11/02

Qui-Gon lay in bed, ill.  Darth Maul had found out where he was and came to kill him. Qui-Gon was too weak to get out of bed, let alone fight.  Maul ignited his lightsabre to kill the Jedi.  He raised his weapon high and smiled.  He failed to sense another presence in the room.  As he drew his sabre down, he felt a hard object press into his back.

“Hurt my father and I’ll gut you.”  A teenage blonde girl stood behind him.

Qui-Gon did not want to feel afraid, but he was glad his daughter had been here.  Shakirakira did not let Maul turn around as she kept the but of her sabre pressed to his back.   Maul was most annoyed, but also intrigued.  Shakirakira forced him out of the house.

  “Thank you, my daughter.”

Shakirakira smiled lovingly.  “I couldn’t let him hurt you.  Don’t worry, father, I won’t let anyone harm you.”

Qui-Gon smiled warmly, lay on the pillow and fell asleep.

19/11/02  - At Suz' place in Stafford Heights, QLD

Qui-Gon had been captured by two people in a shuttle.  They flew in the atmosphere of a planet and threw him out of the shuttle without a parachute at 3000 feet.  As he fell, Qui-Gon called on the Force to break his fall.  He landed safely on the grass.  He knew the shuttle would be back, so he took his clothes off and placed them on the grass, to look like he had landed there.  Qui-Gon placed the cape over him.  The Force told him to hide under an overhanging rock, as if the people in the shuttle saw him, they would kill him.  Qui did as the Force said.   The shuttle did return and fired its weapons, vaporising the clothes before it left.  Qui-Gon fell asleep under the rock, as he was very tired.  He found a comfortable, safe position and slept for 15 hours.

When he awoke he was very hungry and set off to find something to eat.  He had never been to this planet before, but the Force told him he would find some berries.  Qui-Gon walked for about half an hour before he came upon a berry patch with many, many berry and fruit trees.  He smiled and began to eat the sweet berries, hoping there would be enough.  The trees were ladled with all sorts of berries, mulberries, blackberries, blueberries, strawberries, raspberries some trees had peaches and nectarines.  Qui-Gon favoured the mulberries, blueberries and blackberries.  He stopped after a while, his fingers purple with juice, wondering how many berries ha had eaten.

//Do not worry,// the Force said.  //You have had quite an ordeal and you are very hungry and don't feel guilty about it.  There are enough berries in this patch to last you three hundred years and there are 20 million similar patches on the planet and they are being rejuvenated all the time.//

Qui-Gon smiled and continued to eat the sweet and tart berries to his heart's content.  A cool breeze washed over him, caressing his naked chest and bare legs.  He took his hair tie out and let his hair fall down.  He appreciated the peaceful atmosphere of this planet as he watched as some colourful birds dined on the berries as well.  Qui-Gon continued to eat, guilt free, until he had truly had enough.  The Jedi Master sat down, leaning against a large tree, breathing soundlessly in the breeze, appreciating the tranquillity.

It was not too long before another shuttle landed.  Qui-Gon recognised the shuttle and stood, as Obi-Wan emerged.

"What took you so long?" the Jedi Master asked with a smile.

His Padawan smiled back.  "Gears got jammed in third."

"Have some berries," Qui-Gon said.  "They're delicious."

"No thanks, Master, we have to get back to the Temple."

  "Try some," Qui-Gon urged.

His Padawan smiled and humoured his Master.  "Mmm ... They are quite nice."  And he couldn't resist helping himself to more.  Qui-Gon ate a few more mulberries and took some back for the journey home.

1/3/03  - Happy Sydney Mardi Gras!

Note: Samara in this dream is not the same Samara as in the Episode-I RPG.

Samara, a Jedi Knight was fighting with Darth Maul.  She was a wonderful fighter, but also really graceful when she fought.  It was like she was dancing.  Maul did not want to admit how beautiful she looked, but he was intent on killing her and the fight ensued.  Gracefully, Samara swiped her sabre against Maul's side, slicing through him and killing him.  Samara did not revel in the kill, she felt she had no choice.

Darth Sidious was angry, both at Samara and Maul for getting himself killed.  He approached Samara and used the Force on her to subdue her, and took her back to his stronghold.  He made her perform tricks for him and he made her a slave to do all the work that he did not want to do.  She longed to escape, but he always watched her like a hawk and there was a forcefield keeping her in, even when she was outside.

Samara concentrated hard, and managed to transform herself into a grey seal.  She jumped into the water fountain pool and swam away, leaping over the pools until she felt she was safe, though he still felt terrified.  Qui-Gon Jinn came to her and assured her she was safe now.  Samara was still very shaken by the whole experience.  Qui-Gon also transformed himself into a seal to make her feel more at ease.  They swam around together.  Although Qui-Gon felt guilty about having to eat fish, he knew he had to be there for Samara.  In a few weeks, Samara had calmed, but she still was no back to her old self.  Qui-Gon transformed back into his Jedi Self, while Samara decided to stay as a seal until she could gather herself.

?/5/03

Qui-Gon and I were dancing, he was holding me and twirling me around.  We were having a lot of fun together.  We were both smiling and loving each other very much.  We were in a warm room.  Qui-Gon held me gently.  Obi-Wan Kenobi was watching us, smiling as well, glad to see his Master so happy.

10/7/03

Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi had helped the three little pics escape the big bad wolf. The pics had made lots of sausages out of the world and they had to be eaten as the wolf was very evil.  Qui-Gon ate a lot of them, as did Obi-Wan.  The pigs ate the rest.  Qui-Gon told his Padawan that he did not want to eat them and he wished there had been another way, but there had not.  Usually he did not eat as much, one sausage would have been enough, but then again Qui-Gon was unusually vegetarian.

"Sometimes we have to do things that we do not like, Padawan," he told Obi-Wan when his Padawan expressed concern.  Qui-Gon sat on the bed while Obi-Wan had a shower.  Qui-Gon later had a bath and drank lots of water to cleanse himself and talked with his Padawan. The pigs thanked them and the Jedi Master and Padawan left them in peace and moved on, clean and refreshed.  Qui-Gon sat in the forest meditating and a large grey wolf came to him.  Qui-Gon gently stroked it, gently through its thick fur.  The wolf nudged him and Qui-Gon leant against it and was joined by his Padawan.

1/10/03 - In this dream, I looked a little like Isabeau from LadyHawk

Qui-Gon lived in a rather dark apartment with a lot of dark and heavy wooden furniture.  It didn't seem like the sort of place he would live, but I knew it was up to him to sort it out.  One night, Darth Maul attacked.  We managed to subdue him and render him unconscious.  We placed him in a cylinder, to be dumped on a trash moon.  Qui-Gon told me that there was enough air in the cylinder and that Maul would be trapped in the small cylinder for three months, but the Force would take care of food and other things.

Maul was shipped to the trash moon.  He hated being trapped in the pitch black cylinder with hardly any room to move, but deep down, he knew he deserved it.

Meanwhile, back on the planet, Qui-Gon had decided to move.  He disliked his living quarters, they were too dark and stuffy, he declared and the energy was very heavy and his only regret was not doing anything about it until now and Maul would be back in a few months, hungry for revenge.  He would  hitch a ride off the trash moon as soon as he was out of the cylinder.

All of Qui-Gon's furniture belonged to the Jedi Master's ancestors, but it had a lot of sense energy.  He did not want to hang onto the stuff and we let it all go with love.  We sold mostly everything, except a lovely old wooden chest.

"At first I wanted something small, cosy and not flashy, and I realise now that's what I needed, but I foolishly ignored the signs to move on.  Thank you for helping me."

"It's my pleasure, I've done that before, not moving on when I know I should, but we've both learned that lesson now and so we're both moving on together."

He smiled warmly, placed his arms around me and twirled me around. Indeed we are."

And then he kissed me ...

We moved into a bigger, much brighter house, with glass doors, letting more light in and we bought lighter and much more furniture and household items and a lot of natural foods! Qui-Gon could not believe he hadn't done this sooner.

"I feel so much relief," he said to me.  "And it's your fault." He smiled

I chuckled. "I'm pleased about that. This place is lovely." The glass doors were open, letting in the breeze, the white mesh curtains swaying gently in the wind.  The foliage and grass outside looked lovely.

"I feel so much closer to nature and the Force," Qui-Gon said.  "At first I was afraid to let go my old things, as though I was insulting my ancestors, but now I feel closer to them, as if I have freed myself and them as well."

"You have," I said, holding him and placing my arms around his big, strong chest.

We often meditated and played outside.

Qui-Gon and I had a lovely exfoliating shower together and we washed each other's hair.

And then we had a nice relaxing bath.

"It's lovely to have a long, deep bath," the Jedi Master said.  "Though I like the option of a shower too."

"Mmm ... Though I much admit I'm much more of a bath person," I told him leaning against his chest, in the warm water.  We stayed like that for ages, Qui-Gon using the Force to keep the water warm.  We released a lot of limiting emotions and stuff into the water, the remnants of hat we had to clear.

We dried and dressed each other.  That was fun and we played that night.  It was so much fun!  We slept together that night.

A few days later, I discovered that I was with Qui-Gon's child.  He was thrilled to hear the news.

"I never thought I would become a father," he said.  "In some ways I wanted to, but I never thought I would."

"Never say never," I said with a smile as he gently ran his have over my belly.

We came home one afternoon to find Darth Maul sitting in our living room.

"Hello," I said.  "What's kept you?"

He glared at me.  "I hate you," he hissed.

"I would say the feeling's mutual. But hate leads to the Dark Side."

"But I also have to thank you," he admitted, grudgingly.

  "Oh?"

"Yes," Maul hissed.  "I despised being trapped in that cylinder, but it did make me think."

"About how much you hated us?"

"Yes, but also other things ... I have come to realise there is more to life than killing hate ..."

Qui-Gon looked impressed.  "I'm glad.  How long ago did you escape?"

  "The shuttle landed this morning."

"You didn't waste any time ... How did you find us?  We sued Force protection."

"Yes, and I could not sense you, but I sensed so much love here, it had to be you."

Qui-Gon chuckled.  "Thank you."

"Well there has to be something in this love thing, otherwise why would it be so popular?"

"You have a point." Qui-Gon said.

Maul stood.  I moved toward Qui-Gon, to protect my Jedi master baby, but he gently and firmly pushed me aside.  He was not going to let my risk myself or our unborn son.

"Despite what you think, I haven't come to fight, or for revenge, despite the fact that that's what I thought I wanted for the longest time."

"How long have you been here?"

"A few hours.  I helped myself to some of your ginger lemon tea. I hope you don't mind."

"Not at all.  Have some more if you like.  You look famished and you need refreshing."

"Well I have not eaten or bathed in almost over four months."

"I am sorry you had to suffer," Qui-Gon said, "but it was for your own good."

"You'll make a fine mother," Maul said.

I placed my arms around my baby and looked at the Sith.  "He's going to be a father."

 "Congratulations," Maul said, somewhat surprised.

Qui-Gon smiled.  "Thank you."

"And I must say, this is a far better place."

"Yes, I have done some releasing."

"I can see that and I feel the energy here is much lighter ... and you have inspired me to do the same."

"I'm glad, now let me run you a bath.  I'm afraid I don't have a sonic shower.  I hate them."

"Hate leads to the Dark Side," Mauls aid with a smirk.

Qui-Gon chuckled.  "When it comes to sonic showers, It's completely justifies.  I much prefer the feel of the elements on my body."

I smiled, that's my baby. "And what about me?" I said, smiling again.

"You too," Qui-Gon said with a chuckle, rubbing my shoulders.  Maul managed a smile as he went to bathe.  Qui-Gon offered to wash and dry his filthy clothes.  Black did not show up the dirt, but they smelt and the energy was very dense.  We washed them with a dash of rose water and placed them to dry in the sunlight.  Qui-Gon lent Maul a robe until his clothes were dry and felt the least we could do was feed him and he was understandably quite ravenous, though he ate no more than his fill.

He thanked us again for his lessons, donned his clean and dry clothes and sat off on his way to make a new life for himself.  We would see him from time to time in the future.

Qui-Gon sat with me on the huge sofa, and held me gentle and close.  He was touched when he felt the baby move and kick.  It was such a loving and warm place to be in his arms and it was the safest place in the Universe.  He told me that in my arms he felt nurtured and loved.  When our son was born, I let both my babies gently suck upon my breasts drawing mother's milk, and my big baby was just as gentle as my little one.  He told me his own mother was too scared to breast feed him and he thanked me for the honour and privilege, which I was happy, honoured and privileged to give him.

I sensed our son would grow up to be just as loving, compassionate, gentle and humble as his father, and have lovely long hair! And he would be as sensitive as his mother.

We named our beautiful baby Aidoneus.

Aidoneus Jinn.

Obi-Wan had been chosen to train as a Jedi.  He was given a room of his own.  He was nervous, but determined.  When he was bathing, he discovered he was allergic to the clear liquid soap they had given him.  He was embarassed to tell anyone.

The young Jedi’s were having an outing to the square and given a bit of spending money.  Obi-Wan decided to buy some soap in the soap shop he had seen.  He went in ensuring no one saw him.   He saw a cake of cinnamon soap and a green aloe vera soap.  He had enough for two bars and still have change, so he chose the two.  The instructor came in.  “You already have soap,” he said.

Obi-Wan swallowed.

  “Put those back.”

“I … I’m allergic to the Jedi soap,” he stammered.

“Oh,” the instructor said, “then I will purchase those for you. Why didn’t you say anything before?”

“I … I was embarassed. I didn’t want the others to tease me.”

“Having sensitive skin is nothing to be embarassed about.  We ensure our soap is natural, but the stuff we put in to make it clear can cause irritation in some.  Perhaps we should look into that.”

“There are natural colours, how about green?  Like a lightsabre.”

The instructor smiled.  “Yes, that would be good.”

He bought the soap for Obi-Wan.

“Qui-Gon was also allergic to it,” he said.

“Master Qui-Gon Jinn has sensitive skin?” Obi-Wan asked.

“Yes, and he was not embarassed to tell me about it.”

Obi-Wan looked somewhat ashamed.  “I shall endeavour to tell you things in future.”

The instructor smiled.  “Run along now and buy something you like.”

“Thank you,” Obi-Wan left and bought a little figurine of a fairy which have him hope for the Universe to one day be at peace.  And he used his new soap, hoping Qui-Gon Jinn would choose him as his Padawan.

14/2/04 – Happy Valentine’s Day! – Great dream for today!

Qui-Gon caught me as I was falling off a cliff.  I was scared, so I fell again.  This time Qui-Gon used the Force to catch me and held me in his arms.  He told me he would always catch me if I faltered.

15/4/04

I was in a shop looking at all the Easter Eggs.  I couldn’t afford any.  I saw Liam Neeson in that shop and told him how much I loved and was inspired by Qui-Gon and he was so sweet.  He bought me a Little Mermaid Easter Egg, like the one he got for one of his sons.

6/5/04

Qui-Gon was going to what he thought at first to be a meeting with Obi-Wan.  He soon found out however that it was a trick and a trap as he was literally dropped on Hoth.  He found an old tarp from a previous settlement and put that around himself for warmth.  He found an old underground complex and to his surprise, Dooku was there.

"So we meet again, my old apprentice."

"You are not my Master.  I doubt you ever were."

"Your words cut me to the quick, Qui-Gon."

  "I doubt that."

Dooku looked at the Jedi Master darkly.  "Well no matter, you’re one loose end I have to tie up."  He ignited his crimson lightsabre.

Qui-Gon responded in kind, his verdant blade glowing.  Dooku smiled and looked very creepy.

The two clashed, Qui-Gon swerving as Dooku's blade almost sliced his side off.

  "You have learned much."

  "Hardly from you."

Dooku slammed his blade against Qui-Gon's again.

The two fought and clashed, until Qui-Gon gained the upper hand, running his old master through.  Dooku gasped in shock, his mouth open.

"You did not think I would best you," Qui-Gon said.  "Never underestimate your opponent."

Dooku dropped his lightsabre and fell.

Qui-Gon knelt down to him.  "I'm sorry, but you left me no choice."

"Is that what you told Darth Maul when you killed him?"

Qui-Gon hesitated for a moment before replying.  "Yes.  He didn't leave me a choice either."

Dooku gasped in pain.

"Put your hand over the wound, it'll dull the pain."

"Is that what you say to everyone you kill?"

Qui-Gon stood and began to leave.

 "Don't … don't go .." His old Master pleases most unexpectedly.  "I don't want to die alone…"

Qui-Gon turned around and walked back to him, kneeling down to him.  "I have no love for you," he said, but I will stay with you."

  "Thank you…"

Dooku felt angry, but at the same time grateful for Qui-Gon's compassion.

"Never thought it would end like this …"

"Now did I, but death is never an end.  There is no Death.  There is the Force, but you are going to have to answer for your crimes."

  "That's what worries me."

"You chose your path, do not expect me to sympathise with your fate."

  "I don't."  Dooku coughed.

Qui-Gon saw the life leave his old Master's eyes.  Gently he closed them and lowered him to the floor, before holstering his lightsabre and leaving.

"Master where were you?" Obi-Wan asked.  "I was so worried."

"Did you call on the Force?"

  "Yes, but it was strained."

  "I killed him…" Qui-Gon said.

Obi-Wan seemed to know who his Master was talking about.  "You killed Dooku?  About time someone did."

"I didn't want to, but he didn't leave me a choice.  I told him he will have to face his punishment for his crimes."

  "And rightfully so."

"Indeed, but I wish it didn't have to turn out this way.  I wish I never had that man for a master.  I wish I had someone more like .."

  "You?"

  "You," Qui-Gon said.

Obi-Wan placed his arms around his Master.  "Thank you ..Now off to bed with you, you've had a harrowing ordeal."

"Yes, Master," Qui-Gon said with a smile and a twinkle in his eyes.

Obi-Wan smiled too as he ushered his Master off to bed to relax and dream pleasant dreams.

5/8/04

Qui-Gon and I were trapped with our baby daughter in a Labyrinth, similar to the one in the Death Gate Cycle.  I was killed, leaving Qui-Gon distraught.  My body was placed in a hole with the other dead.  In this Labyrinth, men were not allowed to look after babies on pain of death.  Qui-Gon went to the Labyrinth guard to ask him what to do.  It pained him to leave his daughter as well.  When he passed my grave he head noises.  I wans't dead, just in a deep sleep.  He and the guard fished me out.  A fireball came from the heavens.  Most ran for cover.  Qui-Gon and I did not.  The fireball stopped at us.  It had a kind face. The prison guard stood flabbergasted.

"You are chosen," he said, letting us out of the Labyrinth prison.

Qui-Gon and I went to the heaven worlds where the fireball had some from and raised our daughter in peace, in turn saving worlds.

3/9/04

We were watching Episode 3 and it started off with this boy being bullied.  Some bullied took him to a haunted horror movie like basement.  Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan rescued him and took him out into the daylight.

20/9/04

Qui-Gon, but he looked like Liam was tied to a post in the town square by the dark skinned town policeman for giving a naughty boy some bread.  I was determined to rescue him.  At night I approached and stood behind him pretending to be tied up to before I cut his rope bonds with the knife I had brought with me. After he was free, we fled the town and caught a plane with some fake ID I made him and we escaped.  In the morning the policeman smiled, as he was going to release Qui-Gon, but I was happy that I’d rescued my love.

?/11/04

Qui-Gon desperately had to go to the toilet and as I got home he rushed inside and went and did a long wee, feeling so relieved.  He also taught me to release that which I no longer need.

?/1/05

Jody was unemployed before Christmas, but her nice Landlord let her off the rent for her apartment until she could find a job.  She found a job at FLAG.  (The Foundation For Law and Government in Knight Rider).  She found out that a man was also working there, her father, a man who cared only for money.  This saddened Jody, and also he didn't know who she was.  As it turned out, Jody and her father were descendants of Qui-Gon Jinn from the Star Wars Universe and Jody wondered why her father was not like Qui-Gon, or her grandparents, who spent their whole lives doing what they could to protect the weak and helpless.  He told Jody that there was no money in it and that he want to die broke like they did.  She told him in tears that he was her father.  He was taken aback by this, and slowly came to realise that money wasn't everything.  He wanted to know how to be more like Qui-Gon and Jody told him to care about others and use some if not most of his wealth to help others and working for FLAG was a start and the man was soon transformed, much to FLAG's delight.  Qui-Gon appeared to Jody and he told her how proud he was.  And KITT told Jody that she's done a good job and Jody thanked him.

?/2/05

You see Darth Maul run Qui-Gon through and you stay by him, you don't want Maul to know that you’re saying an incantation to bring Qui-Gon back to life, so you say it in silence, invoking Hades, the Lord of the Dead, a misunderstood God to help you.  Hades resurrects Qui-Gon while Obi-Wan kills Darth Maul. The last thing Maul sees before his end in this lifetime is Qui-Gon resurrected.  You and Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan embrace ad are grateful for Hades' gift of life.

7/3/05 – Happy Sydney Mardi Gras!

After Anakin (Darth Vader) had died, he was in a lift going downwards, to hell he supposed.  Qui-Gon appeared before him and told him he could have a new life.  Then he disappeared.  The lift shook and Anakin willed it to stop.  He got out on a planet much like twentieth century suburban Earth and began walking down the street.  He was almost bowled over by a little boy running with a back pack.

"Ani don't you be late for school again!" A woman called.

Anakin was shocked as it was his mother and the little boy was him, in a different lifetime.  Anakin decided to become the little boy again.  He lived with his mother in their small house, and Anakin wouldn't have it any other way.  When he was older, in his twenties, he was visited by Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan from this Universe.  He told them he wanted to stay with his mother.  Qui-Gon seemed to understand.  He and Shmi fell in love and Anakin was gifted with a baby brother.  Qui-Gon couldn't stay as he had commitments with the Jedi, though he visited whenever he could.  Anakin was determined to lead a good and healthy life to atone for his past one.

Anakin stayed on the planet until his mother died of natural causes. It was then that the other Qui-Gon came to visit and Anakin said there was nothing for him here now and Qui-Gon allowed him to join the Force.

?/8/05

Both Darth Sidious and Qui-Gon Jinn had taken an interest in me to take me on as their apprentice.  The Sith was ready to fight for me, though Qui-Gon said that I should make the choice.  Both Sith and Jedi Master lead me into the start of a forest.  They indicated two paths, leading deep into the woods.  Sidious indicated the Dark Path, which lead into a dark patch of the forest , with a clear sign saying 'Dark Path.'  Qui-Gon entered the Light Path which was brighter and more welcoming.  A sight read "Light Path.'  If I were to take the Dark Path, I would become a Sith, perhaps a Sith Lord.  If I were to take the light Path, I would become a Jedi, someday to become a Jedi Master.  Then I spotted a path in the middle, somewhat overrun by growth, and narrower than the other two paths.  Not as dark as the dark path, jet not as light as the light.  I uncovered the sign which said 'Middle Path.  I asked both Sith and Jedi.

"That is neither the Dark or the Light Path," Sidious said.

As much as I wanted to take the Light Path, my heart and soul were being drawn to the Middle Path.

"You must do what you feel is right," Qui-Gon said.

I told him that I wanted to take the Middle Path, that it felt more right for me than either the Dark or Light Path and I apologised.

Qui-Gon smiled warmly. "Do not be sorry, Little One, for the path is yours alone.  No one can choose it for you."

"The Middle Path is longer than either the Dark or Light Path," Sidious cautioned me as I walked down the Middle Path.  "You will take longer to reach your destination."

Qui-Gon lifted h is hand.  "She has chosen."

I did not look back as I walked through the dense forest. I was a little afraid, though I realised there was nothing to fear.  Eventually, I came to a lake and stood upon a sandy bank.  I saw people swimming and motorboats on the water.  I swam to the middle of the lake.  I wanted to get a motorboat to take me to the other side, to save time.  One came to me and the skipper began to take me down the wrong part of the lake.  I became afraid and made him take me back to where he had found me. It was evident to me now I had to make this journey alone.  The Middle Path was clearly indicated under the water and I swam to the other side.  When I stepped out of the water, my clothes were dry.  The path lead up a small mountain and I climbed and climbed.  I walked on some flat area in another forest before I came to a small clearing with what looked like either a large ant mound or dead tree with no branches.  Here I saw two signs.  'Dark Path Ends,' and 'Light Path Ends.' And another sign around the other side of the tree, which said 'Middle Path Continues.'  I hoped it was not too much longer as it had been a long journey already.  Within about five minutes, U came to another small clearing, with a beautiful Greek style Goddess Sculpture in the middle, carved from white stone.  Sitting around her, holding hands were Darth Sidious and Qui-Gon Jinn.  Both shed silent tears. Qui-Gon looked up at me.

"The prophecy stated that whomsoever took the Middle Path would bring the Jedi and the Sith together in harmony.  Until now, no one ever took the Middle Path."

I smiled warmly and sat down, taking both Darth Sidious and Qui-Gon's hands. Not long after, we were joined by both Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Maul, who sat down and joined us in peaceful meditation.  I felt at peace with myself and the Universe.  This was indeed the right path.  After aeons of war the Sith and the Jedi had finally found peace with one and other.  May the Force Be With You.  Always.

13/5/05

In this dream, Qui-Gon was not killed on Naboo.  He was in fact placed on trial for being a Dark Jedi, after Anakin turned.  Many belived he knew Anakin would turn.  Even Obi-Wan wans't sure and this hurt Qui-Gon.  Yoda and The Jedi Council tried Qui-Gon and sensed he was innocent and he was acquitted of any wrong doings.  Obi-Wan was relieved.  He did believe on his Master, but he had to be sure.  Qui-Gon forgave his doubts and the Jedi vowed to help the Rebellion.

?/9/05  (A funny thing about this dream was that I had the exact same dream, just before this one, only with Aragorn and Legolas)

Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan and I were fighting the many offspring of Shelob, the wicked she-spider form Middle Earth on Lord of the Rings.  We fought and fought, slashed and hacked with our lightsabres.  I was overrun by the large spiders and Qui-Gon felt torn and sick, though he felt he could do nothing. For a while I thought I was going to join the Force.  After a monumentous effort. I fought the spiders off me and went to find Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan who had moved on.  Qui-Gon was extremely delighted that I had survived.  He held me in his arms and kissed me.  He sat on the grass and I with him with my head in his lap, the Jedi Master gently stroking my hair.

14/2/06  - Happy Valentine’s Day

In this Dream, Qui-Gon becomes very troubled and distraught and travels to a distant planet, to where the Living Force draws him.  Converted into a FIC --

A Child’s Hope Across the Galaxy
