powerful songs. Music lift’s one’s spirit
and your magical melodies have brought me great joy, love and life.
Apologies for any mis-typed lyrics and other
errors, though I have endeavoured to transcribe well and give credit.
Please note that I will remove lyrics if I am asked to do so by the artists and/or studios, in respect for the artists. However, I will still list the track title and links where the songs and albums can be purchased from.
Notes:
I was inspired by my best mate Annie.
She made the first Lore tape of songs that reminded her about Lore. It was so cool and I loved it so much, I
went crazy making my own. I stopped
after number 7. I thought I had
finished.
Lore, on the other had, had other plans
… ;)
With the help of Annie, Red Skye and Lyric
websites, I have transcribed each of the songs (bar the instrumental ones, of
course) and given my feelings on how the songs and pieces relate to Lore and/or
Data. Some serious, some moving, some
silly and funny, some promiscuous J and some well just felt right!
Rating M –For a few naughtie songs!! ;)

LYRICS TO LORE AND DISORDER
1. THE TOUCH
(Stan Bush, 1986)
You got the touch ... You
got the Power ... yeah!
After all you've said and
done,
You never walked, you
never run
You're a winner
Got the rules, you know
the street
Break the rules, take the
heat
You're nobody's fool
You're at your best when
the dawn gets rough
You've been put to the
test, but it's never enough
You got the touch ... You
got the power
When all hell's breakin'
loose,
You'll be right in the eye
of the storm
You got the heart ... You got
the motion
You know it when things
get too tough
You got the touch!
You never bend, you never
break
You seem to know just what
it takes
You're a fire!
It's in the blood, it's in
the will,
It's in the mighty hands
of steel
When you stand your ground
And you never get hit,
when your back's to the wall
Gonna fight to the end ...
And you're takin' it all
You got the touch ... You
got the power
When all hell's breakin'
loose
You'll be right in the eye
of the storm
You got the heart ... You
got the motion
You know it when things
get too tough
You got the touch!
You're fighting fire with
fire
You know you've got the
touch!
You're at your best when
the dawn gets rough
You've been put to the
test, but it's never enough
You got the touch ... You got
the Power, yeah!
You got the touch ... You
got the power ...
This song reminds me of
Lore in the way that he does have a certain touch, even after all he's been
through and what people have done t him, he's still himself. And it's up to him to show people his touch
and what good he can do with it.

2.
DARE (Stan Bush,
1986)
Sometimes when your hopes
have all been shattered,
And there's nowhere to
turn
You wonder how you keep
goin' (goin')
Think of all the things
that really matter
And the chances you've
earned
The fire in your heart is
growin' (growin')
You can find it if you try
to leave your past behind.
Heaven only knows what you
must find...
Dare! Dare to believe you can survive
You hold the future in
your hands
Dare! Dare to keep all your dreams alive
Come and take a stand
You can win if you dare
Everyone's trying to break
your spirit,
Keepin' you down
Seems like it's been
forever... (ever) Ohh!
There's another voice,
baby don't you hear it,
Saying it's the last time
Looks like it's now or
never, (never)
Out of the darkness, you
stumbled into the light
Fighting for the things
you know are right
Dare! Dare to believe you can survive
The power is there at your
command
Dare! Dare to keep all your dreams alive
Come and take a stand
You can win if you dare
Dare! Dare to believe you can survive
You hold the future in
your hands
Dare! Dare to keep all your dreams alive
The power is there at your
command
Oohh, dare! Dare to keep all your love alive
Dare to be all that you
can be,
Dare! There is a place where dreams survive
It's calling you up to
victory...
Dare! Dare!
Oohh Wow ... Dare!
This song reminds me very
much of Lore - Dare to show who he is inside.
Some of the lines are very apt as well.
Sometimes when your hopes have all been shattered.... and there's
nowhere to turn..." ... "Think of all the things that really matter
And the chances you've earned.... "
"Everyone's trying to break your spirit, Keepin' you down ...Seems
like it's been forever..." These
are painful times Lore is going through and this is a good song for him not to
give up, but to Dare to be free and do what he dreams about.

3. LOVE AND UNDERSTANDING (Cher, 1991)
Here, here in this world, where
do we go?
Where can we turn, When we
need someone
It seems that love just
can't be found
Where - where do we stand
Love's supply don't meet
love's demand
We've got enough stars to
light the sky at night
Enough songs to make the
whole world cry
We got more than enough
But there's one thing
there's just not enough of
Not enough, love and
understanding
We could use some love to
ease these troubled times
Not enough, love and
understanding ... Oh why? Ohh why?
Spend all of our time
Building buildings up to
the sky
Reaching everywhere but
where?
We need to reach the most
Hearts never can win
Ohhh in this race, this
race that we're in
We've got enough cars to
drive around the world
Enough planes to take us
anywhere
We got more than enough
But there's one thing
there's just not enough of
Not enough, love and
understanding
We could use some love to
ease these troubled times
Not enough, love and
understanding .... Oh why? Ohh why?
Not enough, love and
understanding
We could use some love to
ease these troubled times
Not enough, love and
understanding ... Oh why? Ohh why?
We need some understanding
... We need a little more love
Some love and
understanding
Enough stars to light the
sky at night
Enough songs to make the
whole world cry
Enough hearts to find some
love inside
We've got more than enough
But there's one thing
there's just not enough of
Not enough, love and
understanding
We could use some love to
ease these troubled times
Not enough, love and
understanding ... Oh why? Ohh why?
We've gotta find love and
understanding(Love and understanding
We've got to find some
love
Find some love to ease
these troubled times, (Find some love)
Not enough love and
understanding ... Oh why? Ohh why?
Not enough love and
understanding .. Tell me why, tell me why
Give me some love to ease
these troubled times
Tell me why ... Tell me
why
Not enough Love and
understanding ... Ohh why ... why
We've got to find some
love and understanding
Not enough
The chorus is the most
important part here. Lore needs plenty
of love and understanding. If people
understood him, they would see that he's not all bad and he's like a child that
needs love and a guiding hand to bring out the best of him, so he can show people
that he's not incapable of change.

4. YOU GOT IT
(Roy Orbison, 1989)
Every time I look into
your loving eyes
I see love that money just
can't buy
One look from you, I drift
away
Afraid that you are here
to stay
Anything you want, you got
it
Anything you need, you got
it
Anything at all, Baby
Every time I hold you I
become to understand
Everything about you tells
me Im your man (you're my man)
I live my life to be with
you
No one can do the things
you do
Anything you want, you got
it
Anything you need, you got
it
Anything at all, Baby
Anything you want, you got
it
Anything you need, you got
it
Anything at all, Baby
Do do do .... All ... Do
do do... All
Do do do... You got it
I'm glad to give my love
to you
I know you feel the way I
do
Anything you want, you got
it
Anything you need, you got
it
Anything at all, Baby
Anything you want, you got
it
Anything you need, you got
it
Anything at all, Baby
Anything at all, you got
it, Baby
You got it
I like this song, because
I want to give Lore everything he wants and needs. Love, understanding, friendship, someone to lean on, a chance to
start his life again on a better note.

5. SIMPLY THE BEST! (Tina Turner, 1990) (Originally sung by Bonnie Tyler)
I call, I need it, my
heart's on fire
Come to me, come to me,
wild and wilder
You come to me
Give me everything I need
Give me a lifetime of
promises,
And a world of dreams
Speak the language of
love, like you know what it means
I can't be wrong ... Take
my heart and make it strong
Simply the best!
Better than all the rest
Better than anyone ...
Anyone I've ever met
I'm stuck on your heart
I hang on every word you
say
Tears us apart
Baby, I would rather be
there
In your heart's the start
of every night and every day
In your eyes I get lost, I
get washed away
Just as long as I'm here
in your arms
I could be in no better
place
Simply the best!
Better than all the rest
Better than anyone ...
Anyone I've ever met
I'm stuck on your heart
I hang on every word you
say
Tears us apart
baby, I would rather be
there
Each time you leave me,
I'm losin' control
You're walkin' away with
my heart and my soul
I can feel you, even when
I'm alone ... Oh baby...
Simply the best!
Better than all the rest
Better than anyone ...
Anyone I've ever met
I'm stuck on your heart
I hang on every word you
say
Tears us apart
Baby, I would rather be
there
Ohh, you're the best!
Do I really need to
explain why chose this song for Lore?
LOL! S.T.B!!
------------------------------
6. THE IVORY TOWER (Georgio Moroder, 1984 Instrumental) 2.53
This is instrumental piece
from the movie "The Neverending Story" which reminds me of Lore and
not just because. I've chosen this music to be the wedding tune Lore gets
married to Persephone in my Lore novel, Brother’s
Keeper, a Lore Untold. It's a
gentle song, which I think brings out the beauty of him, his gentle side.
------------------------------
7. JURASSIC PARK (John Williams, 1993 - Instrumental)
Again, this piece it
reminds me of Lore. This is the music I
chose for when he gets made the Emperor of the Pakleds, again in my novel, Brother’s Keeper: A Lore Untold, but apart from that, it just reminds me
of Lore. It just seems so much like him
– free, without limits.
------------------------------
8. THE NEVERENDING STORY (Limahl, 1984)
Turn around, look at what
you see
In her face, the birth of
a new day
The mirror of your dreams
Make believe I'm
everywhere
Give in the light
Written on the pages,
Is the answer to a
neverending story
Reach the stars , fly a
fantasy
Dream a dream, and what
you dream will be
Run to keep their secrets
Will unfold behind the
cloud
And there upon the rainbow
Is the answer to a
neverending story ... story
Show no fear, or she will
fade away
In your hands, the birth
of a new day
Run to keep their secrets
Will unfold behind the
cloud
And there upon the rainbow
Is the answer to a
neverending story, story
Neverending story,
neverending story
Neverending story,
neverending story ...
This song, to me
symbolises the family struggle between Lore and Data, because it's like a
neverending story. "Dream a dream,
and what you dream will be..." I picture the two brother's hugging each
other. It also reminds me of Lore from
a fantasy aspect, to be free, in his special world of make-believe, and hope it
becomes real someday soon.

9. MUSIC OF THE NIGHT (Michael Crawford, version 1989)
Night time sharpens,
heightens each sensation
Darkness stirs, and wakes
imagination
Silently the senses,
abandon their defences
Slowly, gently, night
unfurls it's splendour
Grasp it, sense it,
tremulous and tender
Turn your face away from
the garish light of day
Turn your thoughts away from
cold unfeeling light
And listen to the music of
the night
Close your eyes and
surrender to your darkest dreams
Purge your thoughts of the
world you knew before
Close your eyes, let your
spirit start to soar
And you'll live as you've
never lived before
Softly, deftly, music
shall caress you
Hear it, feel it, Secretly
possess you
Alternate
verse: *Softly, deftly, music
shall surround you
Hear it, feel it, Closing
in around you*
Open up your mind, let
your fantasies unwind
In this darkness which you
know you cannot fight
The darkness of the music
of the night
Let your mind start a
journey into a strange new world
Purge your thoughts of the
world you knew before
Let your soul take you
where you want to be
Only then can you belong
to me
Floating, falling, sweet
intoxication
Touch me, trust me, savour
each sensation
Let the dream begin, let
your darkest side give in,
To the power of the music
that I write
To the power of the music
of the night
You alone can make my song
take flight
Help me make the music of
the night
This gentle song reminds
me very much of Lore. "Let the
dream begin, let your darkest side give in..."- not in a negative way.
It's a gentler more objective way to look at his dark side, to show that it's
not all bad, that he can still be himself without losing anything. He can still be mischievous and sarcastic.
but a good person none the less.
Softly,
deftly, music shall caress you
Hear it, feel
it, Secretly undress you …
… Sing to meeeeee … ;)

10. HERO (Mariah Carey, 1994)
There's a hero, if you
look inside your heart
You don't have to be
afraid of what you are
There's a love if you
reach into your soul
And the soul that you know
will find a way
And then a hero comes
along, with the strength to carry on
And you cast your fears
aside, and you know you can survive
When you feel like hope is
gone
Look inside you and be
strong
And you'll finally see the
truth,
That a hero lies in you
It's a long road, and you
face the world alone
When you reach inside your
heart or your soul
You can fall in love,
search within yourself,
And that emptiness that's
there will disappear
And then a hero comes
along, with the strength to carry on
And you cast your fears
aside, and you know you can survive
When you feel like hope is
gone
Look inside you and be
strong
And you'll finally see the
truth,
That a hero lies in you
Love .... I know dreams
are hard to follow
But don't let anyone tear
us away .... Hold on,
There will be tomorrow ...
In time you'll find a way
Then a hero comes along,
with the strength to carry on
And you cast your fears
aside, and you know you can survive
When you feel like hope is
gone
Look inside you and be
strong
And you'll finally see the
truth,
That a hero lies in you
That a hero lies in you
That a hero lies in you
...
It's what's inside your
heart that counts and we know Lore's not all evil that he's a hero in his own
way. That he has to look inside himself
for the truth and not be afraid of what and who he is. A hero lies within him. (Seawave’s Pick I)

11. BONUS TRACK!
LORE BITS (DataLore,
1987 & Brothers, 1990)
These are bits of music I
taped from his episodes which remind me of him. Abdul Abulbul Amir definitely reminds me of him! - Even if
he can’t get the cadence right ;) And
the ending music reminds me of the things that were said in the episode about
Lore never being given a chance, even though he tried so hard. Hopefully he'll get it one day. And yes, Brothers do forgive.
12. ALL BY MYSELF
(Eric Carmen, 1976)
When I was young, I never
needed anyone
And makin' love was just
for fun
Those days are gone
Livin' alone, I think of
all the friends I've known
But when I dial the
telephone, nobody's home
All by myself, Don't wanna
be
All by myself...anymore
All by myself, don't wanna
live
All by myself...anymore
Hard to be sure, sometimes
I feel so insecure
Love's so distant and
obscure, remains the cure
All by myself, don't wanna
be
All by myself...anymore
All by myself, don't wanna
live
All by myself...anymore
When I was young, I never
needed anyone
And makin' love was just
for fun
Those days are gone
All by myself, Don't wanna
be
All by myself...anymore
All by myself, don't wanna
live
All by myself...anymore
All by myself, Don't wanna
be
All by myself ....
This is the lonely Lore
speaking here. He wants - needs
companionship, whether that be a friend a brother or a lover, it doesn't
matter, as long as he feels needed and wanted and he won't be all by himself anymore,
because he'll have someone to share his life and experiences with, and have
someone to care about.
------------------------------
13. THE DAY I FALL IN LOVE (Dolly Parton, John Ingram 1993)
Just an ordinary day,
started out the same old way
Then I looked into your
eyes and knew
Today would be ... A first
for me
The day I fall in love
On the day I fall in love
The sky will be a perfect
blue
And I'll give my heart
forever more
To someone who ... Is just
like you
The day I fall in love
People all say love is
wonderful (Love is wonderful)
That the bells will ring,
And birds will sing
The skies will open
I wonder where that great
big symphony
I'll be your Beethoven
Oh, Beethoven (Insert name
of Lore's loved one here)
Won't you play with me...
And I'll never promise To
be true
To anyone unless it's you
... Unless it's you
The day I fall in love
People all say love is
wonderful (Love is wonderful)
That the bells will ring
And birds will sing
The skies will open
I wonder where that great
big symphony
I'll be your Beethoven
Oh, Beethoven (Insert name
of Lore's loved one here)
Come and play with me...
Just an ordinary day,
Started out the same old way
Then I looked into your
eyes and knew
Today would be ... A first for me, (A first for me)
The day I fall in love
I know you'll be there ...
Ohhh, ahhhh
The day I fall in love...
This is the shy Lore
coming out here, falling in love for the first time. Afraid to open up and show who he really is inside, scared to
admit his vulnerabilities, but not wanting to lie and pretend to be someone he
isn't, and sure he'll be accepted by his love for who he is, because she is
also showing him her true feelings.
------------------------------
14. TOMORROW
(Aileen Quinn, 1981)
The sun'll come out
tomorrow
Bet your bottom dollar
that tomorrow there'll be sun
Just thinkin' about
tomorrow
Clears away the cobwebs
and the sorrow, till there's none
When I'm stuck with a day
that's grey and lonely
I just stick out my chin
and grin and say
The sun'll come out tomorrow
So you gotta hang on till
tomorrow...Come what may...
Tomorrow, tomorrow, I love
ya,
Tomorrow, You're only a
day away
The sun'll come out
tomorrow
Bet your bottom dollar
that tomorrow there'll be sun
Just thinkin' about
tomorrow
Clears away the cobwebs
and the sorrow, till there's none
When I'm stuck with a day
that's grey and lonely
I just stick out my chin
and grin and say
The sun'll come out
tomorrow
So you gotta hang on till
tomorrow...Come what may...
Tomorrow, tomorrow, I love
ya,
Tomorrow, you're only a
day away
Tomorrow, tomorrow, I love
ya,
Tomorrow, you're only a
day away...
This song comes from the
movie musical "Annie," about an orphan with a hard-knock life. It reminds me of Lore in the way that he's
looking on the bright side, willing to take on what the future holds for him,
hoping it will be a good future. It was
my favourite movie when I was 10.
------------------------------
15. ANTARCTICA (Vangelis - Instrumental, 1983)
I don't know what it is
with this song. It reminds me of Lore
so much though. It has a sad tune to
it. I picture Lore listening to it and
crying for some reason, or going on a long, lonely journey to find out who he
is - his inner feelings. I really think
this song describes his sad, painful inner feelings in a beautiful way. It's slow and moving, relaxing in it's own
way. It also has a power, which I think
demonstrates Lore's will power. The
power he has within him to change and become a better person, not the cold
android people think he is - that he has feelings, both bad and good, and that
he wants people to see that he's not all bad and that he can change for the
better.
------------------------------
16. COMPUTERLOVE
(Kraftwerk, 1991)
Another lonely night,
lonely night
Stared at the TV screen,
TV screen
I don't know what to do,
what to do
I need a rendezvous,
rendezvous
Computerlove...Computerlove
Computerlove...Computerlove
I call this number, call
this number
For a data date, data date
I don't know what to do,
what to do
I need a rendezvous,
rendezvous
Computerlove...Computerlove
Computerlove...Computerlove
This piece is mostly
instrumental, but I think it demonstrates Lore's love for others of his kind,
other sentient machines because they're like him, or perhaps people who see
sentient machines as life forms, because that's what they are. It's got a good, happy beat to it and it
also symbolises his loneliness and his love for his brother, Data.
Yeah, I'll
take him out on a Data date ... You gotta be kidding!!! – L.
Lore, behave yourself …
Yes, admit it you card for Data … and I’ve seen you making cute baby faces at
Betsy, your pink calculator.
No Silicon Heaven?! That’s preposterous! Where would all the calculators go?!
------------------------------
17. THE ONE
(Elton John, 1992)
I saw you dancing out the
ocean
Running fast along the
sand
A spirit born of earth and
water
Fire flying form your
hands
In the instant that you
love someone
In the second that the
hammer hits
Reality runs up your spine
And the pieces finally fit
And all I ever needed was
the One
Like freedom feels where
wild horses run
When stars collide like
you and I
No shadows block the sun
You're all I ever needed,
Baby you're the One
There are caravans we
follow
Drunken nights in dark
hotels
When chances breathe
between the silence
Where sex and love no
longer gel
For each man in his time
is Cain
Until he walks a long the
beach
And sees his future in the
water
A long lost heart within
his reach
And all I ever needed was
the One
Like freedom feels where
wild horses run
When stars collide like
you and I
No shadows block the sun
You're all I ever needed,
Ooh Baby you're the One
And all I ever needed was
the One
Like freedom feels where
wild horses run
When stars collide like
you and I
No shadows block the sun
Oh, You're all I ever
needed,
Ooh, Baby you're the One
All I ever needed was the
One
Like freedom feels where
wild horses run
When stars collide like
you and I
No shadows block the sun
Oh, you're all I ever
needed,
Ooh, Baby you're the One
This a lovely song for
Lore. Yes, all we ever needed is the
One!!! ;) Also, it describes Lore's future, that if he stops and looks at
himself, he will see his future, and it's not to late to change into a better
person, and when he does discover love, it will be like nothing he's ever known
and he will be free from his negative feelings -- free to express all his
positive feelings without any fear
(Seawave’s
Pick II)
-----------------------------
The next two pieces it kind
of blend in together. Combined they run
for 5.15 minutes.
18. POCKET CALCULATOR (Kraftwerk - Instrumental,
1991)
This piece is mostly
instrumental. The song's a bit weird, but then so's our boy - in a nice way of
course! I think it depicts him in one
of his crazy, happy whacked out moods.
The song's vibey and up-beat. I
can just picture Lore going mad on a synthesizer organ!
------------------------------
19. HOMECOMPUTER (Kraftwerk - Instrumental, 1991)
This piece is up-beat and vibey, like the last one. I can just see Lore in one of his weird, whacky moods! I can just see him dancing along. He's a good dancer. I can just picture him dancing in time to the music. He's actually quite good at it J
Now how would
you know that? -- Unless you were
peeking.
Uhh … (Innocent
whistle) … I'd better go. Ahh, it's okay. He's just blushing!
------------------------------
20. JEALOUS GUY (John
Lennon, 1971)
I was dreamin' of the past
My heart was beatin' fast
I began to lose control...I
began to lose control
I didn't mean to hurt you
I'm sorry that I made you
cry
I didn't want to hurt you
I'm just a jealous guy
I was feelin' insecure
You might not love me
anymore
I was shivering inside
I was shivering inside
I didn't mean to hurt you
I'm sorry that I made you
cry
I didn't want to hurt you
I'm just a jealous guy
I'm just a jealous guy
I'm just a jealous guy...
This song is good for Lore
to sing to Data, telling him that he's sorry for feeling jealous. He knows it wasn't Data's fault. He was
insecure, and he didn't know what else to
do at the time and now he wants to say he's sorry.
------------------------------
21. BRIGHT SIDE OF LIFE (Eric Idle, 1979)
You know what they say -
Some things in life are
bad
They can really make you
mad!
Other things just make you
swear and curse
When you're chewin' on
life's gristle
Don't grumble, give a
whistle,
And this'll make things
turn out for the best
And - Always look on the
bright side of life...
Always look on the light
side of life
If life seems jolly
rotten,
There's something you've
forgotten
And that's to laugh and
dance and smile and sing
When you're feelin' in the
dumps,
Don't be silly chumps,
Just purse your lips and
whistle, that's the thing
And - Always look on the
bright side of life...Come on!
Always look on the right
side of life
For life is quite absurd
And death's the final word
You must always face the
curtain with a bow
Forget about your sin,
Give the audience a grin
Enjoy it, it's the last
chance you'll have
So - Always look on the bright side of death
Just before you draw your
terminal breath
Life's a piece of shit
when you look at it
Life's a laugh and death's
a joke, it's true
You'll see it's all a
show, Keep 'em laughin' as you go
But just remember the last
laugh is on you
Always look on the bright
side of life
Always look on the right
side of life
Come on, cheer up!
Always look on the bright
side of life
Always look on the right
side of life
Worse things happen, you
know
Cheer up, y' ol' bugger!
Always look on the right
side of life
There you are, see!
There's the grin....
Always look on the right
side of life....
I can just see Lore playing this song when he's feeling down. It'll cheer him up to look on the bright side - to his future, and it's sort of a funny song too, so he can laugh a long with it. (He's giggling now, and whistling along!)
Yeah. Life's a piece of shit.
Cheer up y’ ol’ bugger!

22. IN DREAMS
(John Waite, 1993)
In my life, I've seen such
things
That I wish I had not seen
But through your eyes, I
can let it go
When you're lying here
with me...
Sunshine knocking on my
window
Couldn't wake me from this
dream we dream
Cause baby anyway the wind
blows,
I will follow you it seems
But in my life, I still
believe
In dreams ...
Where you are is where
I'll be;
That's all that really
matters to me.
The world out there can
kiss my ass;
As long as I got you I'm
free...free
Sunshine knocking on my
window
Couldn't wake me from this
dream we dream
Cause baby anyway the wind
blows,
I will follow you it seems
But in my life, I still
believe
In dreams ...
The world out there can
kiss my ass;
As long as I got you I'm
free...free
Sunshine knocking on my
window
Couldn't wake me from this
dream we dream
Cause I don't care which
way the wind blows,
I will follow you it seems
But in my life, I believe
Cause in your life, you
believe
In dreams ...
This song proves Lore
hasn't given up hope. He has a strong will. If he believes in himself he can
make it, start a new life. It symbolises the way his new life will lead, it's
so much better than before, like a dream, but this time it's real

23. HOLD YOUR HEAD UP HIGH (Stan Bush, 1993)
Each one of us, no matter
who
Has a dream which might
come true
There's a power there that
we don't understand
It's in your heart, it's
in your soul
It's in your eyes when you
take control
You can have the world right
there in your hand
We can be all that's
inside of our hearts
We'll live forever and
touch the stars
I believe there's
somethin' out there waitin'
You just gotta reach for
the sky
There is a dream deep
inside us that's creatin'
Silver wings that make us
fly
You just gotta hold your
head up high
Take a look inside
yourself
There's only you, there's
no one else
Each one of us has a light
all his own
And when you listen to the
spirit inside
You draw the strength from
all mankind
Nothin' can stop you now,
cause you're never alone
Glory is callin' you into
the fire
Courage is liftin' you
higher and higher
I believe there's
somethin' out there waitin'
You just gotta reach for
the sky
There is a dream deep
inside us that's creatin'
Silver wings that make us
fly
You just gotta hold your
head up high
The feeling that comes
From your own special
place
Call it destiny, call it
your fate, come on!
I believe there's
somethin' out there waitin'
You just gotta reach for
the sky
There is a dream deep
inside us that's creatin'
Silver wings that make us
fly
Gonna live on and never
die
You just gotta hold your
head up high
I really like this song
for Lore. He has his dreams like
everyone else, and this song tells him to go for his dreams, "reach for
the sky and keep your head up high."
It also has a great beat to it.
It also tells Lore to be free. (Seawave’s

24. EVERY BEAT OF MY
HEART (Stan Bush, 1992)
Yeah ... Since you've
gone, I've been all right
Don't mind livin' alone
Told myself I didn't need
your love
Could make it on my own
But only in the darkness,
Can you start seein' the
light
When you know you're
wrong,
But you can't make it
right
Everyday I go through,
I still hold onto you,
With every beat of my
heart
Every time you walk by,
When I look in your eyes,
I start fallin' apart
Every song that I hear,
There's a brand new tear
In these lonely, lonely
eyes
I can still feel you with
every beat of my heart
Sometimes I feel I can't
go on
And face another day
Cause when we tried
talkin' it out
The words got in the way
So I guess I'll just be
strong and stand alone
I've got my pride
And try to hold on
Gotta Keep it inside
Everyday I go through,
I still hold onto you,
With every beat of my
heart
Every time you walk by,
When I look in your eyes,
I start fallin' apart
Every song that I hear,
There's a brand new tear
In these lonely, lonely
eyes
I can still feel you with
every beat of my heart
I'm with you when I sleep
at night
I'm dreamin' that I'm
still holdin' you tight
I should forget you, but I
can't let go
Ohh ...no no no ...
But only in the darkness,
Can you start seein' the
light
When you know you're were
wrong,
But you can't make it
right
Everyday I go through,
I still hold onto you,
With every beat of my
heart
Every time you walk by,
When I look in your eyes,
I start fallin' apart
Every song that I hear,
There's a brand new tear
In these lonely, lonely
eyes
I can still feel you with
every beat of my heart
Yeah, every beat of my
heart
Oh yeah, I can't let
go....
I can't let go
Yeah, yeah
Every beat of my heart
With every, every beat ...
This song also has a great beat to it. It might symbolise Lore's love for his brother, or perhaps a woman that he met, that he cherished very much. "Tears in his lonely eyes..." This is a good line, because Lore is lonely and he needs someone to love him.
