LORE’S SENSATIONAL SEVENTH ALBUM!!!

FULL CIRCLE

Disclaimers, Kudos and notes:   All songs are owned by the artists and studios.  I lay absolutely no claim to them.  I make no money, gold pressed latinum, Republic Daitari, etc from this page.   Kudos to the artists of these gorgeous, lovely, moving and powerful songs.  Music lifts one’s spirits and your magical melodies have brought me great joy, love and life.

Apologies for any mis-typed lyrics and other errors, though I have endeavoured to transcribe well and give credit.

Please note that I will remove lyrics if I am asked to do so by the artists and/or studios, in respect for the artists.  However, I will still list the track title and links where the songs and albums can be purchased from.

Notes:  I was inspired by my best mate Annie.  She made the first Lore tape of songs that reminded her about Lore.  It was so cool and I loved it so much, I went crazy making my own.  I stopped after number 7.  I thought I had finished.

Lore, on the other had, had other plans … ;)

With the help of Annie, Red Skye and Lyric websites, I have transcribed each of the songs (bar the instrumental ones, of course) and given my feelings on how the songs and pieces relate to Lore and/or Data.  Some serious, some moving, some silly and funny, some promiscuous J and some well just felt right!

Rating M –For a few naughtie songs!! ;)

LYRICS TO FULL CIRCLE

And Now ... Behold the last of the Great Soong Dynasty ;) …

1.         TITANIC THEME  (James Horner, - Vocals Sissel 1999)

Some of the song has a lighter tune, dealing with Lore's constant struggle and looking to the future, to the journey ahead, but the vocal part, represents Lore's loneliness and heart ache as he sinks deeper into his own prison, his despair like a flare in the freezing dead of night.

----------------------------

2.         MY HEART WILL GO ON  [TITANIC] (Celine Dion, 1999)

Every night in my dreams

I see you, I feel you,

That is how I know you go on

Far across the distance

And spaces between us

You have come to show you go on

Near, far, wherever you are

I believe that the heart does go on

Once more you open the door

And you're here in my heart

And my heart will go on and on

Love can touch us one time

And last for a lifetime

And never let go till we're one

Love was when I loved you

One true time I hold to

In my life we'll always go on

Near, far, wherever you are

I believe that the heart does go on

Once more you open the door

And you're here in my heart

And my heart will go on and on

You're here, there's nothing I fear,

And I know that my heart will go on

We'll stay forever this way

You are safe in my heart

And my heart will go on and on

Represents Lore's strength to pull through, despite his hurts and setbacks of the past, and his love for Data, despite their differences.

-------------------

3.         NEARER MY GOD TO THEE  (Instrumental)

This was the final tune played by the Titanic Band before she went down.  It represents hope in the despair, and a light in the darkness, amongst Lore’s despair.

----------------------

4.         40 POUND FLOAT  (Instrumental)

Represents the joy and vitality Lore can have when he lets go of his hate and loneliness.  Free to be himself, free to dance a jig!

---------------------

5.         ST. ELMO'S FIRE [MAN IN MOTION]  (John Parr, 1985)

Growin' up, you don't see the writing on the wall

Passin' by, movin' straight ahead, you knew it all

But maybe sometime if you feel the pain

You'll find you're all alone, everything has changed

Play the game, you know you can't quit until it's won

Soldier on, only you can do what must be done

You know in some way you're a lot like me

You're just a prisoner and you're tryin'a break free

I can see a new horizon underneath the blazin' sky

I'll be with the eagle's flyin' higher and higher

Gonna be your man in motion,

All I need is a pair of wheels

Take me where my future's lyin',

St. Elmo's Fire  (oooohhhhh)

Burnin' up, don't know just how far that I can go

(Just how far I go)

Soon be home, only just a few miles down the road

I can make it, I know I can

You broke the boy in me, but you won't break the man

I can see a new horizon underneath the blazin' sky

I'll be with the eagle's flyin' higher and higher

Gonna be your man in motion,

All I need is a pair of wheels

Take me where my future's lyin',

St. Elmo's Fire

I can climb the highest mountain, cross the wildest sea

I can feel St. Elmo's Fire burnin' in me,

Burnin' in me

Just once in his life a man has his time,

And my time is now, I'm comin' alive

I can hear the music playin', I can see the banners fly

Feel like you're back again, and hope ridin' high

Gonna be your man in motion

All I need is a pair of wheels

Take me where my future's lyin',

St. Elmo's Fire

I can see a new horizon underneath the blazin' sky

I'll be with the eagle's flyin' higher and higher

Gonna be your man in motion,

All I need is a pair of wheels

Take me where my future's lyin',

St. Elmo's Fire

I can climb the highest mountain, cross the wildest sea

I can feel St. Elmo's Fire burnin' in me

Burnin', burnin' in me, I can feel it burnin'

Oooh, burnin' inside of me...

Shit, I love this song!  It represents Lore wanting to break out of his prison, to be who he truly in inside and ride the wind like an eagle, the fire burnin' inside him.  He’s truly comin’ alive!  (Seawave’s Pick I)

---------------------

6.         BRING HIM HOME (Michael Crawford, 1994)  2.58

God on high, hear my prayer

In my need, you have always been there

He is young, he's afraid

Let him rest, heaven blessed

Bring him home, bring him home

Bring him home

He's like the son I might have known

If God had granted me a son

The Summers die, one by one

How soon they fly, on an on

And I am old, and will be gone

Bring him peace, bring him joy

He is young, he is only a boy

You can take, You can give

Let him be, let him live

If I die, let me die

Let him live, bring him home,

Bring him home, bring him home

Lore needing someone to help him along his journey, someone to bring him home ... Dr Soong talking to him, giving him what he never did.  It's from the musical Les Misrables, sung by the main character Jean Valjean.

-----------------

7.         IF I LOVED YOU   (Michael Crawford, 199?)

If I loved you

Somehow I can see

Just exactly how I'd be

If I loved you

Time and again

I would try to say

All I'd want you to know

If I loved you

Words wouldn't come in any easy way

Round in circles I'd go

Longing to tell you

Bu afraid and shy

I'd let my golden chances pass me by

Soon you'd leave me

Off you'd go in the mists of day

Never, never to know

How I loved you

If I loved you

This is Lore talking to Data, but shy to admit his love for his brother and perhaps his mother and father also.

----------------------------

8.         COLOURS OF THE WIND  (Judy Kuhn, Pocahontas, 1995)

You think I'm an ignorant savage

And you've been so many places,

I guess it must be so

But still I cannot see if the savage one is me

How can there be so much that you don't know

You don't know ...

You think you own whatever land you land on,

The Earth is just a dead thing you can claim,

But I know every rock and tree and creature

Has a life, has a spirit, has a name

You think the only people who are people

Are the people who look and think like you

But if you walk the footsteps of a stranger

You learn things you never knew, you never knew...

Have you ever heard the wolf cry to the blue corn moon

Or ask the grinning bobcat why he grins

Can you can sing with all the voices of the mountains

Can you paint with all the Colours of the wind

Can you paint with all the Colours of the wind ...

Come run the hidden pine trails of the forest

Come taste the sun sweet berries of the Earth

Come roll in all the riches all around you

And for once never wonder what they're worth

The rainstorm and the river are my brothers

The heron and the otter are my friends

And we all connected to each other

In a circle, in a hoop that never ends

How high does a sycamore grow

If you cut it down then you'll never know

And you'll never hear the wolf cry to the blue corn moon

Or whether we are white or copper skinned

Need to sing with all the voices of the mountains

And to paint with all the Colours of the wind

You can own the Earth, and still all you'll own is Earth

Until you can paint with all the Colours of the wind ...

This is a song about accepting Lore's differences.  He's unique.   He wants others to understand him and accept him and see him in a different light.   (Seawave’s Pick II)

------------------

9.         GO THE DISTANCE - [DISNEY'S HERCULES] (Roger Bart, 1997)

I have often dreamed

Of a far off place

Where a great warm welcome will be waiting for me

The crowds will cheer

When they see my face

And a voice keeps sayin'

This is where I'm meant to be

I will find my way

I can go the distance

I'll be there someday

If I can be strong

I know every mile will be worth my while

I will go most anywhere to feel like I belong

I am on my way

I can go the distance

I don't care how long

Somehow I'll be strong

I know every mile will be worth my while

I will go most anywhere to find where I belong

I will beat the odds

I can go the distance

I will face the world

Fearless, proud and strong

I will please the Gods

I can go the distance

Till I find my hero’s welcome

Right where I belong

Lore's long, arduous journey to 'go the distance' if he's strong, every mile is worth his while, he’ll defy the odds, to find the place where he belongs ...  (Seawave’s Pick III)

-------------------

10.       CLIMB EV'RY MOUNTAIN  (Sound of Music Cast, 1965)

A dream that will need

All the love you can give

For the rest of your life

For as long as you live

Climb ev'ry mountain

Board ev'ry stream

Follow ev'ry rainbow

'Till you find your dream

What need be said?

--------------------

11.       WATERWORLD THEME  (James Newton Howard, 1995)  2.10

Represents Lore's quest for freedom, akin to sailing the open sea.

---------------

12        CHILDREN [DREAM VERSION]  (Robert Miles, 1996,             Instrumental)

This is a nice song for Lore, starting off with rumbling thunder and then getting gentler.  Although I don’t see Lore as a child person J, I see him as a child in his own way.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
13.       FABLE  [MESSAGE VERSION]   (Robert Miles, 1996)
Tell me a fable
A fable ...
Tell me a fable
Tell me a fable
Tell me a fable
A fable...
Tell me a fable ...
Talk to me, tenderly
So reality and fantasy
Will melt together, only in one thing
Talk to me, tenderly
So reality and fantasy
Will melt together, only in one thing
Oohh ahhh, ooohh ahhhhh
Ahhh, ah ah ahh...
Oh ... eee ... ahhh
Fable ... Ahh ahh...
Fable ... Ahh ahh...
Ahh ahh...
Fable ... Ahh ahh...
Fable ... Ahh ahh...
Tell me a fable...
Tell me a fable...
A fable ... A fable
A fable that will never fade end
And now I dream
Dream ...
Dream...
Oohh ahhh, ooohh ahhhhh....
Oohh ahhh, ooohh ahhhhh....
Oohh ahhh, ooohh ahhhhh....
Oohh ahhh, ooohh ahhhhh....
I really love this one.  It has a nice beat and the short lyrics really go well.  Lore wants a fable, someone to tell him he can have a better life, if he tries.  (Seawave’s Pick VI)
--------------------
14.       WHEN I FALL IN LOVE   (Brent Spiner, 1991)
When I fall in love
It will be forever
Or I'll never fall in love
In a restless world like this is
Love has ended before it's begun
And too many moonlight kisses
Seem to cool in the warmth of the sun
When I give my heart
It will be completely
Or I'll never give my heart
And the moment I can feel that you feel that way too
Is when I fall in love with you
When I give my heart
It will be completely
Or I'll never give my heart
And the moment I can feel that you feel that way too
Is when I fall in love ...
When I fall in love ...
When I fall in love with you
Hwy, what Lore set would be complete without a Brent number!?
I chose this song because it's Lore, scared he'll be hurt again if he falls in love ... And it helps that Brent's singing too!  ;)
------------------------
15.       ROB ROY OVERTURE  (Carter Burwell, 1995, instrumental)
Represents Lore's struggle, but also his inner love, and longing to be loved in return.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

16.       ONCE UPON A TIME (STORYBOOK LOVE)  (Mark Knopfler, 1987,)

                                                                                                 Instrumental

Again representing Lore's need for love, and his inner gentleness, pity he doesn't get given a chance to show it.  It also shows his passion for freedom.

------------------

17.       OVER THE RAINBOW   (Judy Garland, 1939)

Somewhere, over the rainbow, way up high,

There's a land that I heard of once in a lullaby

Somewhere, over the rainbow, skies are blue,

And the dreams that you dare to dream really do come true

One day I'll wish upon a star

And wake up where the clouds are far behind me

Where troubles melt like lemon drops

Away above the chimney tops

That's where you'll find me

Somewhere over the rainbow, bluebirds fly,

Birds fly over the rainbow,

Why, oh why can't I?

Where troubles melt like lemon drops

Away above the chimney tops

That's where you'll find me

Somewhere over the rainbow, bluebirds fly,

Birds fly over the rainbow,

Why then, oh why can't I?

A lovely song, again representing his quest for freedom, and his inner childlike wonder and his sadness also, wanting to escape this harsh reality.  I so hear you, Baby!  J   (Seawave’s Pick V)

--------------

18.       TALK TO HIM   (Ken Davis, Inspiration, 1993, instrumental)

Represents Lore needing someone to talk to, preferably Data, to give him gentleness, and help him find his sense of wonder that Lore lost somewhere along the way.  He needs someone to talk to J

-----------------

19.       WHO WANTS TO LIVE FOREVER  (Queen, 1986)

There's no time for us

There's no place for us

What is this thing that builds our dreams

Yet slips away from us

Who wants to live forever

Who wants to live forever...

There's no chance for us

It's all decided for us

This world has only one sweet moment set aside for us

Who wants to live forever

Who wants to live forever...

Who dares to love forever

When love must die

But touch my tears with your lips

Touch my world with your fingertips

And we can have forever

And we can love forever

Forever is our today

Who wants to live forever

Who wants to live forever?

Forever is our today

Who waits forever anyway ...

A wonderful song for Lore, as it represents him having to love with his pain for a very long time and he has to deal with that.  He prides himself on being an android, although Forever is a long time to live with pain.   (Seawave’s Pick VI)

-------------------

20.  PRINCES OF THE UNIVERSE  (Queen, 1986)

Here we are

Born to be kings

We're the Princes of the Universe!

Here we belong

Fighting to survive

In a world with the darkest powers

And here we are

We're the Princes of the Universe!

Here we belong

Fighting for survival

We've come to be rulers of your world

Oohhh, ohhhhh

I am immortal

I have inside me blood of kings!

I have no rival

No man can be my equal

Take me to the future of your world!

Born to be kings

Princes of the Universe!

Fighting and free

Got your world in my hand

I'm here for your love and I'll make my stand

We were born to be princes of the Universe!

No man could understand

My power is in my own hand

Ooh  Ooh  Ooh  Ooh

People talk about you

People say you've had your day

I'm a man that will go far

Fly the moon and reach for the stars

With my sword and my head held high

Got to pass the test first time ‑ yeah

I know that people talk about me I hear it every day

But I can prove you wrong cos I'm right first time

Yeah!  Yeah!  Alright!  Yeah, whooh!

Watch this man fly!

Bring on the girls!

Here we are {Here We are}

Born to be kings

We're the Princes of the Universe

Here we belong

Born to be kings

Princes of the Universe !

Fighting and free

Got your world in my hands

I'm here for your love and I'll make my stand

We were born to be princes of the Universe!

Universe....

This kickass ditty represents Lore's anger toward biological life forms – especially humans, perhaps with a bit of superiority, and ego, although but it also represents his alienation.  (Seawave’s Pick VII)

-------------------

21.       I GOT YOU  (Split Enz, 1997)

I got you

That's all I want

I won't forget

That's a whole lot

I don't go out

Not now that you're in

Sometimes we shout

But that's no problem

I don't know why sometimes I get frightened

You can see my eyes

And tell that I'm not lying

Look at you

You're a pageant

You're everything that I've imagined

Somethin's wrong

I feel uneasy

You show me

Tell me you're not teasing

I don't know why sometimes I get frightened

You can see my eyes

And tell that I'm not buyin'

I don't know why sometimes I get frightened

You can see my eyes

And tell me you're not cryin'

There's no doubt

Not when I'm with you

When I'm without

I stay in my room

But when you go

I get no answer

You're always out

It gets on my nerves!

I don't know why sometimes I get frightened

You can see my eyes

And tell that I'm not lying

I don't know why sometimes I get frightened

You can see my eyes

And tell me you're not cryin'

I don't know why sometimes I get frightened

You can see my eyes

And tell that I'm not cryin' ...

This catchy tune represents Lore's dilemma, his confusion at his fears and his need for someone to console him.

22.       WE WILL ROCK YOU   (Queen, 1986)

We will rock you!

Ya big disgrace!

Kickin' your can all over the place

TOO RIGHT, SISTER!   WE WILL, WE WILL ROCK YOU!!!

BOOM BOOM CRASH!   BOOM BOOM CRASH!!!

23.       MY ONLY LOVE  (Jennifer Cihi, 1995)

My Only Love

Deep in my soul

Love so strong

It takes control

Now we both know

The secrets bared

The feelings show

Driven far apart

I'll make a wish

On a shooting star

There will come a day

Somewhere far away

In your arms I'll stay

My only love

Even though you're gone

Love will still live on

The feeling is so strong

My only love

There will come a day

Somewhere far away

In your arms I'll stay

My only love

You've reached the deepest part

Of the secret in my heart

I've known it from the start

My only love

There will come a day

Somewhere far away

In your arms I'll stay

My only love

My only love …

This cute, lovely song kind of represents Lore's love for Data, or someone he may care about.  I think if he fell in love, it would be true and forever.  Lore’s singing about his rather colourful past.  I believe if he truly - truly - loved someone he would tell them – even if it meant that he would risk losing them.  (Seawave’s Pick VIII)

-------------------

24.       CALL MY NAME {AND I'LL BE THERE}  (Jennifer Cihi, 1995)

There are days when those grey skies

Make you blue

Each forward step you take

You fall back by two

You've been kicked by

some hard‑hogs

You just can't stand

Feelin' like Alice

Felt in Wonderland

Let me be the one to lend a hand

Call my name and I'll be there

There's nothin' like the

laughter that we share

Whenever you need someone

Or a shoulder to lean on

Call my name and I'll be there

And when life's going

Your way

Just like a breeze

It's a kite flying kind of day

Above the trees

Together we'll be making memories

Call my name and I'll be there

There's nothin' like the

laughter that we share

Whenever you need someone

Or a shoulder to lean on

Call my name and I'll be there

As this world turns us around

We hang on to what we found

A treasure that we need

I will go that extra mile

To give you back that certain smile

That you've given me

I'll answer every time and anywhere

Call my name and I'll be there

There's nothin' like the

laughter that we share

Whenever you need someone

Or a shoulder to lean on

Call my name and I'll be there

Call my name and I'll be there

Call my name and I'll be there

Call my name

Call my name I'll be there

Represents Lore's loyalty and his love for Data.  If only he got the chance.  He wants to prove himself.

------------------------------

25.       WHEN YOU BELIEVE  (Michelle Pfeiffer, Sally Dvorsky, 1998)

Many nights we've prayed

With no proof anyone could hear

In our hearts a hopeful song

We barely understood

Now we are not afraid

Although we know there's much to fear

We were moving mountains

Long before we knew we could, whoa, yes

There can be miracles

When you believe

Though hope is frail

It's hard to kill

Who knows what miracles

You can achieve

When you believe

Somehow you will

You will when you believe

In this time of fear

When prayer so often proves in vain

Hope seems like the summer bird

Too swiftly flown away

Yet now I'm standing here

My hearts so full, I cant explain

Seeking faith and speakin' words

I never thought I'd say

There can be miracles

When you believe (When you believe)

Though hope is frail

It's hard to kill

Who knows what miracles

You can achieve (You can achieve)

When you believe somehow you will

You will when you believe

They don't know its often when you ask,

And its easy to give in to your fear, uh

But when you're blind you find your pain

Can see or wake me through the rain

Boy, am I still resilient voice

Says love is the relief, oh [Oh]

There can be miracles (Miracles)

When you believe

[Though hope is frail]

Though hope is frail [Its hard]

Its hard to kill

Who knows what miracles

You can achieve (You can achieve, oh)

When you believe somehow you will

Somehow you will

You will when you believe

You will when you believe

A-shi-ra-la-do nai ki ga-oh ga-ah

A-shi-ra-la-do nai ki ga-oh ga-ah

Mi-cha-mo-cha ba-elim Adonai

Mi-ka-mo-cha ne-dar-ba-ko-desh

Na-chi-tah v'-chas-d'-cha am zu ga-la-ta

Na-chi-tah v'-chas-d'-cha am zu ga-la-ta

A-shi-ra, a-shi-ra, a-shi-ra

(I will sing to the Lord, for he has triumphed gloriously

I will sing to the Lord, for he has triumphed gloriously

Who is like you, oh Lord, among the Celestial

Who is like you, majestic holiness

In your love you lead the people you redeemed

In your love you lead the people you redeemed

I will sing, I will sing, I will sing)

REPEAT - Up Tempo

There can be miracles

When you believe

Though hope is frail

It's hard to kill

Who knows what miracles

You can achieve

When you believe

Somehow you will

You will when you believe

You will when you believe

This beautiful, lovely and uplifting song from The Prince of Egypt soundtrack is Lore song, believing he can let go his painful past and recover from his instability, and start a new life.   He will achieve miracles.  (Seawave’s Pick XI)

----------------------

26.       MERLIN  (Trevor Jones, 1998, instrumental)

This lovely piece represents the magic Lore's capable of, if only he'd believe and others would believe in him.

--------------------

27.       MOON AND SUN  (Stefan Schramm, Jonas Kvarnstrom, 1991, Instrumental)

This lovely track with music and whale song represents the freedom Lore needs and the beauty he's capable of, though he needs to believe in himself and others need to give him this chance.

------------------

28.       A NEW DAY (Jennifer Cihi, 1995)

Got up this morning

On the right side of my bed

With all these crazy thoughts

Screaming through my head

I can't wait to see

What this world

holds for me

Oh, it's a new day

Oh, it's a new day

And when I see you

Any time or any place

You are the reason

For the smile on my face

'Cause you make me feel

All my dreams can be real

Oh, it's a new day

Oh, it's a new day

It feels so good to be alive

Even if a little rain should fall

'Cause every moment

Brings a new surprise to us all

Oh, it's a new day

Oh, it's a new day

Oh, it's a new day

Oh, it's a new day

Here in you I found a friend

You'll be with me 'till the end

Oh, it's a new day

Represents Lore wanting to turn over a new leaf, start a new life and his wanting to consider his brother as his inspiration and friend.

29.       STAR WARS: EPISODE ONE - THE PHANTOM MENACE - END TITLE

A lovely, upbeat, moving celebration song … though not without a hint of sadness.

30.       ANYWHERE IS  (Enya, 1995)

I walk the maze of moments

But everywhere I turn to

Begins a new beginning

But never finds a finish

I walk to the horizon

And there I find another

It all seems so surprising

And then I find that I know

You go there you're gone forever

I go there I'll lose my way

If we stay here we're not together

Anywhere is

The moon upon the ocean

Is swept around in motion

But without ever knowing

The reason for its flowing

In motion on the ocean

The moon still keeps on moving

The waves still keep on waving

And I still keep on going

I wonder if the stars sign

The life that is to be mine

And would they let their light shine

Enough for me to follow

I look up to the heavens

But night has clouded over

No spark of constellation

No Vela no Orion

The shells upon the warm sands

Have taken from their own lands

The echo of their story

But all I hear are low sounds

As pillow words are weaving

And willow waves are leaving

But should I be believing

To leave the thread of all time

And let it make a dark line

In hopes that I can still find

The way back to the moment

I took the turn and turned to

Begin a new beginning

Still looking for the answer

I cannot find the finish

It's either this or that way

It's one way or the other

It should be one direction

It could be on reflection

The turn I have just taken

The turn that I was making

I might be just beginning

I might be near the end.

This amazing song represents Lore's dilemma of which way to turn if he is given a new life - is he near the beginning … or the end?

Just when you thought it was safe …

But wait, there’s Lore!

Now onto the (probably) final album … Simply entitled
