The Scorpio has been cornered by a well armoured
ship. A dangerous magnetic cloud blocks
their getaway.
"Evasive
manoeuvres!" Avon yells to Tarrant.
"What in
blazes do you think I'm doing, man!?"
"Fire!" Avon yells.
The other ship's shields deflect the blast.
"Damn!" Avon curses.
"They're
firing again!" Soolin gasps.
Avon glares at her.
"I can see that." He
looks at the viewscreen.
Dayna looks
objective. "It's not a laser
blast, it's a communication link."
A pleasant looking woman appears on the Scorpio's
screen.
"Ding
Dong, Avon Calling ..."
