Phoebe enters,
wrapped in a thick gown, yawning. She
looks troubled. Piper and Paige come to

PIPER
Bad night?
PHOEBE

PAIGE
You looked like you tossed and
turned like a whirling dervish.
PHOEBE
Perhaps I did. (BEAT)
Is it cold in here or is it
just me?
PAIGE
(Shivers
and rubs her arms)
It's cold.
PIPER
Yeah, strange weather we're
having.
It's supposed to be the middle of
Summer.
PHOEBE
Do you think it's anything
supernatural?
PAIGE
Nah.
PHOEBE
I just have this strange feeling...
Chris and Leo enter
the Sun room and come to the Charmed ones.
LEO
About what?
PHOEBE
(Shakes her head)
Strange dreams ... Strange
weather ...
think you should
get
the Elders to check it out.
PAIGE
Hold your horses, Girl. I mean I
know you're an Empath, but are
you sure it's not just a cold
flush? They have been known to
happen you know. Not everything's
demons.
No sooner has Paige
spoken when a flash is seen, and a male messenger demon appears.
MESSANGER DEMON
(Laughs)
The end is nigh! Hark! The end is
nigh! For all mankind!
He begins to
disappear, but Piper blows up the demon first.
The demon erupts in a ball of flame, still laughing.
LEO
I'll see what the Elders come up
with.
CHRIS
I'll go with you.
Leo nods and
together they Orb out.
PHOEBE
Cold flush, huh?

(Sighs defeated)

stand around. Piper looks thoughtful.
PIPER
Maybe the book will have

about that demon I just
vanquished.
PAIGE

for the end of the
world.
PHOEBE
And
you thought it was a cold
flush.
PAIGE
So
sue me.
The Charmed Ones
head upstairs.
INT. ATTIC
The sisters consult
the book. Paige flips through the pages
until she comes to the right one.
PAIGE
Found him!
PIPER
What does it say about him?
PAIGE
He is or rather was a
messenger
demon. A harbinger of doom.
PIPER
That doesn't sound so good. What
else does it say?
PAIGE
They are a breed of messenger
demons, bred to tell tales of
destruction, of Armageddon.
PHOEBE
That sounds worse.
Leo and Chris Orb in
to the Sisters.
LEO
What sounds worse?
PIPER
Oh nothing, just Armageddon.
What did the Elders have to
say?
LEO
No news is good news, I'm afraid.
They know something bad's going
down, but they don’t know what
exactly.
PIPER
In other words they're clueless,
like us.
LEO
In a word, yup.
PIPER
Fantastic.
So we just sit
around
and wait for Armageddon to
bite
us on our backsides?
PHOEBE
Maybe
that's what he meant.
PIPER

PHOEBE

one, just thinking aloud.
PAIGE
Well
we have to do something. I
don't
particularly want my
backside
bitten by Armageddon.
Phoebe mysteriously
falls down unconscious.
LEO
(Concerned)

He kneels down to
her. Her sisters look worried.

It looks like she

PAIGE

A man swims
underneath the water. Show Phoebe
standing at the side of the pool, looking at the man. The man swims to her and comes up. It is Cole. Phoebe stares
at him.
COLE
You were my sunshine,
Phoebe.
And then you burned me... It's the
end, Phoebe, the end.
PHOEBE
(Stammers)
I ... uhh ... I ...
Cole swims
away. Phoebe still stands there. Cole swims back to her.
COLE
Can you ever forgive me, Phoebe?

END DREAM SEQUENCE
INT. HALLIWELL MANOR
- ATTTIC
Phoebe awakes with a
start and looks troubled.
PIPER
What happened?
PHOEBE
Where am I ... Oh ...The Attic ...
Did I faint?

lost consciousness.
PHOEBE

She stands.
PAIGE
Are you all right? You look ...
somewhat troubled.

(Sighs)
I may as well tell you all ...
PIPER

(Takes a deep breath)
I have been having a recurring
dream for the last three nights.
LEO
And that's what's been troubling
you?
PHOEBE
You could say that. It was about
Cole.
Piper and Paige look
surprised.
PIPER
(Surprised)
Oh? Why didn't you tell us?
PHOEBE
I was embarrassed, I thought it
would pass.
LEO
But it didn't. You say you had the
dream more that once?
PHOEBE
(Nods)
He asked me to forgive him.
PIPER
I hope you told that bastard to
go straight to hell.
PHOEBE
I think is already in Hell and

PAIGE
Do you think the dream had any
meaning? Dreams often do.

Perhaps it's a message of some

But what message? In the dream
he all he seemed to want was
forgiveness for what he did.
He
looked so sad. Do you think I

CHRIS
I feel like I'm the odd one out
here.
Am I the only one who doesn't
know
who this Cole is?
PIPER
He was Phoebe's demon ex-husband.
CHRIS
(Stares at Phoebe)
You married a demon?
PHOEBE
(Defensive)
I didn't know he was a demon
at first.
CHRIS
And when you found out you dumped
him, right?
PHOEBE
Well not exactly...
CHRIS
What?
PIPER
It's a long otello. Have you heard
of the demon Balthazar?
CHRIS
Yes, history has it he was vanquished
by you, the Charmed Ones.
PIPER
Twice ... He was sent by the source
to kill us, but he fell in love with
Phoebe.
He was evil, then tuned
good, then turned evil again, and we
vanquished him, but he came back,
then turned good, then evil again
and we vanquished him finally.
CHRIS
Oh.
How can you be sure he won't
come back again?
PHOEBE
We vanquished him when he was
vulnerable. Another long story
which I'm not going to go into.
I did love Cole, but I am over
him now.
CHRIS
Then why are you dreaming about
him?
PHOEBE
(Sighs)
I don't know. Perhaps like Paige
said, it's a message of some kind?
LEO
Dreams are often messages from the
subconscious. You don't think
it's Cole actually trying to reach
you from the Other Side, do you?
PHOEBE
(Troubled)
I don't know. He said something
about 'the end.' Perhaps he was
referring to the Armageddon that
messenger demon was prophesizing?
LEO
Could be.
Phoebe still looks
troubled.
CUT
TO:
INT. LOKI'S LAIR
Show a dark, dank
looking place. Loki lies on a slab of
rock, chained to it, struggling against the chains. A demon stands, holding Thor's Hammer.
LOKI
Faster, you malingering peasant!
The Demon and
strikes it against Loki's chains. He
strikes again and again until the chains break. Loki free himself and the
chains fall to the ground. Loki stands,
looking triumphant.
LOKI
At last, I Loki am free! Free for
revenge!
The and bows
down. Loki looks at the demon and
laughs.
LOKI
I will have my revenge, even if
it destroys the world!
He looks fanatical
and he laughs.
EXT. EARTH FROM
SPACE - SHOW THE SKY DARKENING
CUT

EXT. HALLIWELL MANOR
- SHOW SKY DARKENING
INT. HALLIWELL MANOR
It is getting darker
outside.
PIPER
Strange, it's only one o'clock.
PAIGE
Can you say Armageddon? I think
it's too late.
CHRIS
(Serious)

PHOEBE

A gathering of
Valkyries stand around, with a precession of heroes.

VALKYRIE LEADER
They will have to be. March!
She opens up a
portal to the modern world and begins ordering both Valkyries and heroes
through.

INT. HALLIWELL MANOR
- ATTIC
The Charmed Ones,
Chris and Leo stand around. Chris rubs
his arms.
CHRIS
It's getting colder.
PAIGE
(Turns to Phoebe)
Another cold flush joke and I'm
outta here.
PHOEBE
I'm sensing something much more
serious.
She falters and
grabs a chair for support.
LEO
What are you sensing?
PHOEBE
I'm not sure ... Terrible hatred
A burning desire for revenge...
against the entire world...
Phoebe almost passes
out again. Leo places his hands upon
her shoulders, steadying her.

INT. LOKI'S LAIR
Loki stands amidst
his demon minions.
LOKI
At last our time has come, after
thousands of years of being
trapped...
A short demon
approaches Loki.
DEMON 1
What
are your orders, My Liege?
Loki looks down at
the demon.
LOKI
Release the frost giants.
DEMON 1
(Smiles)
Consider it done, My Lord.

- ATTIC
It is dark as night
outside.
LEO
I have to go, the Elders are
calling.
(To Chris)
You stay here and see if you can
find anything.

PHOEBE
Maybe the book will have something
on how to stop Armageddon.
PAIGE
Let's hope it doesn't say 'Bruce
Willis.'
CHRIS
This is no time for jokes.
PAIGE
If a girl can't make jokes
about Armageddon what a girl
joke about?
Chris shakes his
head.
PAIGE
All work and no play makes Chris
a dull boy.
CHRIS
Dull or not, the end of the world
is serious business and I suggest
we get our heads down. What does
the book say?
PIPER
It's difficult to nail it down.
Armageddon means different things
to different cultures. It would
help knowing what sort of Armageddon
we're looking at. 'The end of the (MORE)
PIPER
(CONT'D)
world' isn't much to go on. Phoebe,
Are you sensing anything?
Phoebe sits down and
closes her eyes.
PHOEBE
Nothing more, I'm sorry.
PIPER
No need to apologize, but we need
something to go on.
The Valkyrie Leader
appears in the attic.
PIPER

(To the Valkyrie Leader)

VALKYRIE LEADER

(Impatient)
Ragnarok is upon us. Have you not
seen the signs?
PIPER
Ragnarok!

VALKYRIE LEADER

Yes we will, but first, we have
to know what we're dealing with.
Paige goes to the

PAIGE
Ragnarok ... Ragnarok ... Here

Ragnarok,
means doom - the end of
the
cosmos," That sounds wonderful,
"where
the Gods and the Frost Giants
fought
the final epic battle,
plunging
the Earth into darkness.
The
stars will vanish from the sky.
The
Earth will shudder and be
scorched.
It is the beginning of
the
end."
PIPER
Great.
VALKYRIE LEADER
Loki
is once again loose and plans
to
as your book says 'plunge the
world
into darkness.' He does not
care
if his revenge destroys the
entire
world. And in this day and
age
the Gods cannot stop him.
PIPER
Wonderful,
so how do we stop him?
VALKYRIE LEADER
We
were hoping you would have a
plan.
PIPER
We've
just learnt what we're
dealing
with. We'll need some
time.
So just how do you stop an
insane
God? Paige, look up Loki.
PAIGE
On
it.
She flips through
the book again.
PAIGE
Here he is, Loki, Norse God,
mischievous, sinister, handsome
in appearance, evil in character.
He was responsible for the death
of the Norse God Balder. He is
able to change shape at will. He
was imprisoned by the Gods,
chained with chains only Thor's
Hammer could break.
VALKYRIE LEADER
Thor's sacred Hammer was stolen
from
us by demons.
PIPER
This is getting better by the
minute.
Leo Orbs in.
LEO
I have some news.
He sees the Valkyrie
and flinches, remembering his time trapped amongst them.
LEO
What's she doing here?
PIPER
Telling us about Ragnarok.
LEO
(Nods)
That's what the Elders said. They
said that the war would start in
the North, in Iceland.
PIPER
In other words, we'd better rug up.
LEO
Exactly.
DISSOLVE
TO:
INT. HALLIWELL MANOR
- LIVING ROOM
The Charmed ones and
Leo are all dressed in cold weather gear.
CHRIS
I'd better stay. Someone has to
look after Wyatt.
PIPER
Thanks.
Chris gives a
nod. Leo holds hands with the Sisters
and
they Orb out.
VALKYRIE LEADER
Our hopes go with you.
CUT
TO:
EXT. ICELAND
Show many huge Frost
Giants stomping about. Valkyries and Heroes are fighting them. Leo and the Sisters stare at them.
FROST GIANTS
DOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!
PIPER
(Whispers)
Oh crap.
PAIGE
What do we do?
PIPER
We need a spell and fast!
PAIGE
Frost Giants rid thee
From my sight I command thee!
Nothing
happens. Piper looks at Paige. Paige shrugs.
LEO
We're going to need a little
more than that.
PAIGE
I'll try again ...
Frost Giants go below
From this land go!
One of the Frost
Giants turns around and comes stomping after Paige. She stares up at it and Orbs out of the way as its huge foot
comes down on top of her. She Orbs to
Leo and the others. She was not quite
quick enough as she is bleeding, her blood staining the white snow. Paige
looses consciousness. Leo holds her in his arms.
FADE
OUT:
END OF ACT TWO

ACT THREE
FADE IN:
EXT. ICELAND
Wounded, Paige lies
on the icy ground, Piper, Leo and Phoebe looking at her with concern and worry.
PIPER
(Urgently to Leo)
Heal her!
Leo places his hands
over Paige.
LEO
It's not working ...
Leo and the sisters
look worried. A hoard of Frost Giants
come stomping toward them.
FROST GIANTS
DOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!
LEO
No time ...
He grabs hold of the
sisters' hands and orbs them to the attic.
CUT
TO:
INT. HALLIWELL MANOR
- ATTIC
Leo and the others
Orb in. Leo lies Paige down on the
sofa. She is semi-conscious and groans.
Chris looks over at Paige and becomes worried.
The Valkyrie Leader looks over at Paige also.
VALKYRIE LEADER
She has been poisoned by the
Frost Giants. You do not have
much time - if you can save her
at all.
PHOEBE
Don’t say that. What about an
ordinary hospital?
VALKYRIE
LEADER
That will not help. Medicine of
your
time cannot cure her.
PIPER
And what will we tell them?
That our sister was stomped
on my a Frost Giant from
Ragnarok?
Phoebe looks
worried.
PHOEBE
Leo, is there anything you
can
do?
LEO
There may be one thing. I
can take her to the Elders.
They may be able to heal her.
PIPER
Do that.
Let's hope it works.
LEO
It may not. In the meantime,
you
and Piper make a healing
potion. Try conventional magic,
natural
magic, anything.
PHOEBE
On
it.
LEO
Chris
you come me with me.
Chris nods. Piper and Phoebe look worriedly at the
semi-conscious Paige as Leo takes her hand and Orbs out with her to the Elders.
PHOEBE
(Whispers)
Good luck, Leo.
CUT TO:
INT. ELDERS' DOMAIN
Leo and Chris Orb
in, Leo holding the wounded Paige in his arms.
He is surrounded by a group of Elders. Leo sets her down on a ledge as
the Lead Elder emerges.
LEO
I can't heal her. I need help.
LEAD ELDER
(Takes a breath)
I'm not sure I can either.
CUT

INT. HALLIWELL MANOR
- ATTIC
Phoebe and Piper
have started on the potion.
PIPER
Some ground sandalwood for
protection and elf leaf for
purification of the wound...
She adds the
sandalwood and elf leaf to the brewing potion and stirs it with a wooden spoon.
PHOEBE
I think we should add some
frankincense to traverse fear.
PIPER
Good idea.
Leo and Chris Orb
back into the Attic. Piper and Phoebe look at him anxiously.
LEO
The Elders are seeing what
they can do, but it doesn't
look good.
Phoebe and Piper
look worried, as do Leo and Chris.
VALKYRIE LEADER
I commend your efforts, but the
situation is grim and may I
remind you - you have a world to
save.
The life of one is not as
important as the entire world.
PIPER
She is our sister.
VALKYRIE
LEADER
And do you think Loki will stop
with the world?
PIPER
We've almost finished the potion,
then we'll worry about Loki.
The Valkyrie Leader
looks unfazed.
VALKYRIE LEADER
I must leave you now, I am
overdue in battle.
PIPER
Good luck.
VALKYRIE
LEADER
I will need a great deal more than
luck.
She vanishes.
LEO
The Elders are calling.
He orbs to them.

The Elders and their
Leader stand around Paige.
LEAD ELDER
We've done all we can for her.
LEO
You couldn't heal her?
LEAD ELDER
No, but we've stabilized her
condition.
I fear the only thing
that will save her is the end of
Ragnarok.
LEO
The end of the world ...
Leo picks up Paige
and orbs out with her. She is still
unconscious.
CUT
TO:
INT. HALLIWELL MANOR
- ATTIC
Leo Orbs in with
Paige and lies her on the sofa. Phoebe and Piper rush to them.
PHOEBE
(Nervous to ask)
How did it go?
PIPER
She's still unconscious.
LEO
They couldn't heal her fully,
but they've stopped the bleeding.
PIPER
That's something at least. We've
finished the potion.
LEO
Bring it here.
Piper gathers a vial
and brings it to Paige. Piper and
Phoebe kneel down. Gently Phoebe rubs
it on Paige's wound. The wound site
begins to glow, but doesn’t heal.
PHOEBE
(Dismayed)
It's not working...
LEO
By the way, where's our friend?
PIPER
Oh, she went to fight the ice
boogymen with her heroes.
Phoebe passes
out. Piper's head snaps around.
PIPER
Oh no you don't! I'm not having
two sisters conk out on me.
Phoebe!
Piper slaps her face
gently.
PIPER
Phoebe!
BEGIN DREAM SEQUENCE
INT. INDOOR POOL
Cole swims underneath
the water. Show Phoebe standing at the
side of the pool, looking at him. Cole
swims to her and comes up.

away. Phoebe looks after him.

She slaps her
forehead as Paige begins to regain consciousness.

Piper, Phoebe and
Leo smile.

The potion's slowed the poison,
but
it's still inside you.
PAIGE
(Winces)

PIPER
On the bright side, Phoebe has

She loses
consciousness again.

triumphant amidst his demon minions.

Show many heroes and
Valkyries lying defeated. As the Frost
Giants stomp on.

Yes, doom it is for all who
oppose me!

- ATTIC
The Valkyrie Leader
appears to Leo, the Charmed ones and Chris.
VALKYRIE LEADER
Alas the battle does not go
well.

I pray it be good.
PIPER
You're in luck. Phoebe has an
idea.
PHOEBE
For about a week now as most of
you
know I've been having a
recurring
dream about Cole.
VALKYRIE LEADER
What
has this got to do with
Loki
and his Frost Giants?
PHOEBE
I'm
getting to that. Cole said
something
about sunshine and
burning,
so I'm assuming that
pure
sunshine will destroy the
Frost
Giants.
VALKYRIE
LEADER
The
sun's rays have been blocked.
PHOEBE
Well
then we'll just have to
unblock
them.
VALKYRIE LEADER
Even if that is possible, you
still
have to trap Loki and stop him. If
you don't, he’ll just create another
army of Frost Giants, and there's also
his demon minions to worry about.
PHOEBE
I so hear you, but first let's deal
with the Frost Giants. I'll get
onto a spell.
VALKYRIE
LEADER
I hope it works, for all our sakes.
Phoebe sits down,
picks up and pen and paper and writes.
PHOEBE
How's this ...

Piper's hand and Orbs them to Iceland.

Leo and the others
Orb in. The Frost Giants seem to be
gaining the upper hand over the heroes and Valkyries.

Now!

Rays of Sunlight

Loki stands, livid.
LOKI
(Beyond furious)
NO!!! (PAUSE)
No matter. I will create a new
army of Frost Giants! None can

stand, then the Charmed ones raid their shelves.

PAIGE

PIPER

hurl the vanquishing potion, vanquishing two of the demons. Piper uses her
powers, quickly vanquishing the other three.
Piper uses her powers on Loki to no effect. Loki stands and laughs.
PIPER

PIPER, PHOEBE AND PAIGE

Loki looks worried
as mists swirl around him, becoming chains.

Cole swims to
Phoebe.

Cole smiles warmly
and swims away. Show pool expanding to
the ocean. The sun is setting. Phoebe smiles.

smiling. She goes to her sisters in the
sun room.

sisters.
